A group of men threatened a Swedish conscript in downtown Enköping in central Sweden on Wednesday night before making off with the man's clothes.

Wearing nothing more than is underwear, the twenty-something conscript then plodded nearly two kilometres back to his base where he called police, said a police spokesperson to the TT news agency.

The perpetrators are said to have forced the lonely conscript to remove his clothes under the threat of violence, according to Sveriges Radio.

The soldier-in-training was wearing civilian clothes at the time and on his way back to his base following home leave.

The man’s mobile phone and wallet were also taken in the heist.
