One Saturday a month for the last five years they have served up a mixture of delicate country, singer songwriter, subdued old rock songs and some beautiful collectors’ pictures as friends and regulars settle in to knock back yet another beer at this classic old pub in Gamla Stan.

Tonight

It’s Springfield’s seventh anniversary, but they’re not bothering to celebrate. Instead they’re bringing in the excellent Six Figure Transatlantic to play at around 11pm.

Vassa Lördag

Over the last few years Vassa Eggen has gradually begun to take over as the most obvious hangout for the city's pub-going hip-hop and nightclub audience.

Every weekend the bar on the outer edge of the Stureplan area is full to bursting with all the old regulars from Riche/East/Annakhan/Berns/Floras Kulle, who love dancing on the bar to everything from old school hip-hop to Baltimore club, soul, funk, disco and electro.

Among the most frequent DJs are people like DJ Taro, KärleksJohan, A Lowe Thing, Thomas LA, Myggan, Jeppe Körsbär and Hackenbush.
