Friday night has a Halloween flavour this week. Sample all the scary wares with tips from The Local's club partners Djungeltrumman.

2.35;1

Address: Berns, Berzelii Park
9pm – 4am
150 kronor
Age: 23 and over
Website

The new Berns has undergone a major facelift and has recently reclaimed its undeniable place as one of the city’s biggest, best and most ambitious nightclubs.

Walk in through the hotel entrance, go down the stairs and you will discover a gigantic floor space with more than enough room for dancing, getting to know people and hanging around in the lounge in a nice dark environment with the freshest clientele in town.

In terms of music, Berns plays everything from hip-hop to house, jazz and soul. There’s also a major focus on art exhibitions, film viewings and other visual treats.

80s

Address: Riddarkällaren, Södra Riddarholmshamnen 19
10pm - 3am
100 kronor
Age: 18 and over

Enjoying its 11th year on the Stockholm clubscape, 80s has once again switched venues and decided to establish itself at the large Riddarkällaren venue for the foreseeable future.

The concept is of course the same as it has always been: all sorts of eighties music. From synth pop to indie, goth, rock, Italian disco, chart hits and more or less any name you can recall from the pink decade.

So for goodness sake don't forget to dress up in your eighties gear.

A black hairsprayed fringe or pink leg-warmers will also do the trick.

The club's residents go by the names DJ Life and Pauli. There are occasional special guests and 80s also sometimes holds tribute evenings for a particular eighties icon or band.

Tonight

A visit from DJ legend Håkan Lidbo in praise of the year 1982, along with DJ Loco from Breakfast Club (who wasn't even born then). Resident DJ Life and Pauli Sudra will of course also be doing their thing.

Blondie

Address: Knast, Upplandsgatan 7
6pm - 1am
Free entry
Age: 18 and over

Down among the graffiti-covered stone walls, the candlelit darkness, thick dry ice, red leather sofas and curious images of skeletons and popes, Stockholm legend Tommie X opens the doors every Friday night to his wonderfully decadent club, Blondie.

The club is a coming together of the gays and the fag hags, the media old timers and the nineteen year old barflies, bewigged anorexic monsters and confused but happy indie poppers and fashionistas.

There is room for everybody here, whether you want to dance 'til you sweat to life-affirming eurodisco or sit and make out in the black sofas.

Tonight

Blondie Ghost Party with a Halloween theme (of course!) with a warm reception guaranteed for the best costume. DJs Dean and Aron will be setting the mood from 6pm.

DC Metro

Address: Metró, Götgatan 93
10pm - 3am
80 kronor (60 kronor with DC gold card)
Age: 20 and over

Building on its successes at Snaps and Sugar Bar (as well as earlier hits at Allhuset and Kolingsborg), Klubb Democrazy is broadening its empire still further. The club continues with its winning formula of indie, electro, hits from the eighties and nineties and other stuff you can dance to at Metró, located at the Skanstull end of Götgatan. Every second Friday the club will do its thing with resident DJs Mean Mr Mustard and Inverted mind.

Tonight

Inverted Mind will warm up the dancefloor before handing over to Eskilstuna trio En Jävla Fest, who promise plenty of electro stompers and indie dance tunes.

Maja Meldsted will be playing princess pop songs up in the bar.

Klubb Spark

Address: Debaser Medis, Medborgarplatsen
7pm - 3am
100 kronor
Age: 20 and over
Website

Klubb Spark is the occasional Debaser Medis club whose is to leave no guest unmoved. The club offers an eclectic and dancy mix of music from the DJ booth and the stage, often with an electronic focus, but also straightforward pop or rock.

Tonight

Vänersborg indie rockers Division of Laura Lee make their long-awaited live return, with support from Gotland's finest Pascal, as well as Giant Boar. DJs: I Made This.

LOVE

Address: Marie Laveau, Hornsgatan 66
10pm - 3am
100 kronor
Age: 20 and over
Website

Four of the city's most diligent DJs combine their loving hearts in a bid to bring pop back to the dance floor.

Terry Ericsson, Lång-Kalle, Miriam Pemberton and Magdalena Lublin hold their LOVE club every second Friday on both floors of the ever popular Marie Laveau - up in the bar and down on the sweaty dancefloor.

Aside from the residents, there will also be wonderful guests playing favourites from four decades of pop.

On each occasion the club also awards a free dinner date to a couple of its choice.

Tonight

A Twin Peaks Theme for Halloween. Everyone is expected to dress up as their favourite character from the show, with a dinner as a prize for the best dressed.

O-Baren

Address: O-Baren, Stureplan 2
9pm - 2am
Free entry
Age: 21 and over
Website

O-Baren located right at the back of the luxury Sturehof restaurant, is like a little oasis in the middle of Stureplan. Here you can be certain of avoiding DJ Bobo, Basshunter and champagne-spraying brats. Instead Lorenzo and Nicke at the bar always make sure there are some top notch DJs playing some of the best rock, indie, electro, soul, house and disco in town.

Tonight

A great evening in store with Niklas Eriksberger and a special guest playing rock, pop, reggae, beats, punk and rock'n'roll.

Svenska Musikklubben

Address: Landet, LM Ericssons Väg 27
8pm – 1am
50 kronor
Age: 18 and over
Website

Popular, reliable and ambitious pop club that always books interesting, high quality live bands from home and abroad.
SMK hops around between different venues Debaser Medis, Debaser Slussen and Landet.

Tonight

Live: Strawberry Fair and Lionlove. DJs: Twig-Mathias and Sofie.
