Blogging teenager Isabella 'Blondinbella' Löwengrip was Sweden's most sought after celebrity in 2008, according to a new list released by Google.

The search engine's annual zeitgest list is purged of evergreen favourites in the realms of sex and pornography to give a picture of what Swedes are searching for outside the bedroom. Besides popular domestic figures, Google also collates top ten searches for foreign stars, government agencies, car brands and general terms.

This year's celebrity table topper, Blondinbella, is at the vanguard, and remains the undisputed queen of a burgeoning corps of young Swedish “lifestyle and fashion” bloggers who post everything from the mundane details of daily life to shocking personal revelations.

The outspoken and precocious 18-year-old, who describes herself as a “driven and goal-oriented girl”, started blogging when she was only 14.

In the most popular Blondinbella post, “Sometimes it’s scary to feel so happy”, she describes her change of heart about moving in with her boyfriend, has received nearly 600 comments from readers.

“I may be young but Nils is the best thing that has happened to me and so it feels so unnecessary to move into my own apartment ‘just because’," she writes.

Former Big Brother contestant and fellow blogger Linda Rosing claimed second place on a list dominated by attractive women in the public eye.

Bubbly television presenter Carolina Gynning, also a former occupant of the Big Brother household took the fifth spot, two places ahead of busty glamour model Natacha Peyre.

Despite a disappointing showing at the Eurovision Song Contest, Charlotte Perelli also managed to slip in at the tail end of the list.

Of the male contingent, Sweden's most talented living footballer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, scored a creditable third place finish, just ahead of comedy wunderkind Björn Gustafsson.

And, almost a decade after the landmark album in which he implored his home town of Gothenburg not to feel sad for him, dashing troubadour Håkan Hellström is still setting hearts racing, sandwiched as he is between Gynning and Peyre on the Google ranking.
