The hyper attractive Götgatan bar Bauer has made a major commitment to getting in great DJs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Large sections of the snazzy Stockholm elite are brought together in the large bar to play everything from hip hop, Baltimore club and disco to indie rock and electro.

Down among the graffiti-covered stone walls, the candlelit darkness, thick dry ice, red leather sofas and curious images of skeletons and popes, Stockholm legend Tommie X opens the doors every Friday night to his wonderfully decadent club, Blondie.
The club is a coming together of the gays and the fag hags, the media old timers and the nineteen year old barflies, bewigged anorexic monsters and confused but happy indie poppers and fashionistas.
There is room for everybody here, whether you want to dance 'til you sweat to life-affirming eurodisco or sit and make out in the black sofas.
DC Metro
Address: Metró, Götgatan 93
10pm - 3am
80 kronor (60 kronor with DC gold card)
Age: 20 and over
Building on its successes at Snaps and Sugar Bar (as well as earlier hits at Allhuset and Kolingsborg), Klubb Democrazy is broadening its empire still further. The club continues with its winning formula of indie, electro, hits from the eighties and nineties and other stuff you can dance to at Metró, located at the Skanstull end of Götgatan. Every second Friday the club will do its thing with resident DJs Mean Mr Mustard and Inverted mind.
Devotion
Address: Fasching, Kungsgatan 63
11.59pm - 4am
100 kronor
Age: 20 and over
Devotion is a club night aimed at an audience that loves R'n'B, disco, soul, boogie and funk, all impeccably selected and mixed by innovative DJs who don't just follow the tracks laid by The Voice and never compromise with their choice of songs. It's all about love and a passion for music and dancing, not attitude or what's on the surface.
Resident DJs Will-Rock and Pure P are a couple of the town's veterans in their genres and they fill the big dance floor at the classic old jazz and soul club Fasching with music for people with big hearts.
Gear Club
Address: Debaser Slussen, Karl Johans Torg 1
10pm - 3pm

Gear Club is Debban's much talked about garage rock club. The club is held once a month and offers rockabilly, blues, rock'n'roll and, of course, lots of garage rock.

Julia

The media crowd's favourite hang-out is back. After a summer expedition to Spymlan and earlier escapades at Riche, Berns and Tranan, Fredrik Virtanen and Tom Pyl have finally found their way back home to safety.
Every Friday the media elite makes a pilgrimage to the bar section of Melker Andersson's very fine Restaurangen where they listen to soft rock, west coast pop, mature soul, friendly pop, FM rock, singalong anthems and camp fire standards. Fredrik and Tom are often joined by guest DJs who are not entirely unknown.
Tonight
Residents night.
LOVE
Address: Marie Laveau, Hornsgatan 66
10pm - 3am
100 kronor
Age: 20 and over
Website
Four of the city's most diligent DJs combine their loving hearts in a bid to bring pop back to the dance floor.
Terry Ericsson, Lång-Kalle, Miriam Pemberton and Magdalena Lublin hold their LOVE club every second Friday on both floors of the ever popular Marie Laveau - up in the bar and down on the sweaty dancefloor.
Aside from the residents, there will also be wonderful guests playing favourites from four decades of pop.
On each occasion the club also awards a free dinner date to a couple of its choice.
Tonight
Slumber Love with Richard Harris, who's flying in from England with a suitcase full of the best psych beats and freak beats.
Trinity Sound
Address: Bysis, Hornsgatan 82
10pm - 3am
Age: 20 and over
Website
Trinity Sound has been spreading the word of reggae in Stockholm since 1993. A lot of people and parties have passed in that time, but trinity veterans like Governor Andy, Daddy Boastin, Fabulous G and DJ Flars are still there behind the decks and the mics, making sure the party never ends.
