An angry man attacked his neighbour in a Gothenburg suburb on Wednesday. The man's chosen weapon was a large branch from a tree.

"The branch was a good size, like a baseball bat," said Gunnar Lindman at Gothenburg police to local newspaper Göteborgs-Posten.

The victim opened the door to his apartment in the Hisingen area of Gothenburg to be met by a barrage of blows from the branch-wielding attacker. He was able to beat off several blows with his arms and sustained only minor injuries.

The attacker then fled the scene by bike. It is not clear if he took his unorthodox weapon with him.

Police were able to apprehend the man, who is in his thirties, a hundred metres from the scene after wrestling him to the ground.

It seems that despite the angry nature of the attack the two men did not know each other. Police suspect that the attacker is suffering from some form of psychiatric condition.

"Both men are apparently completely normal looking people," Gunnar Lindman told the newspaper.

Bizarre. I could have sworn that PrinceKnight lived in Stockholm, not the 'Borg. He must be exceptionally pissed off by the fact that no one is supporting his boycott.
