Happens at my local ICA all the time... dark meat inside nice fresh pink meat... as far as I recall from cooking school this is impossible everywhere except at ICA.
This is not all. Whenever I buy meat from ICA, it leaves tons of water on the pan. What I think is that they inject water in the meat in order to make it heavier.
I think the best thing is to have Fresh Meat so the controversy of packaged meat does not exist.
Moreover these people at ICA might also be repackaging bread and other stuff as well by changing the dates. Just goes to show the non existence of consumer protection lawes in Sweden
