“I am ashamed of what I did. I am currently undergoing treatment to become clean. I want to get back to the sport,” he told Enköpings-Posten.

The club has suspended he player indefinitely. But Chairman Peter Sandbring assured the newspaper that player will receive assistance from the club.

“We have allocated resources to help the player back,” said Sandbring.

Enköpings RK became Swedish champions for 2006 when they comprehensively beat Stockholm Exiles over two legs in the final earlier this autumn.
