There was the guy that found 500,000 kr in car borrowed from a garage and handed it in, and now 100,000 kr found buried in the woods and handed in...
Take it home, hide it for a few months, then spend it.
Im up the woods every day, ive never been so lucky all ive found is a mangled bike and a fake plastic ring from a cracker.
Do none of you find that your lack of honesty a bit out of place?
Maybe you should stop and think.
Now if it was a lost diamond ring or some other kind of valuable, or even a wallet filled with money, that's a different story - I'd turn it in automatically.
If it were a crime, a lot here will automatically think it's a foreigner.
Don't get me wrong, most swedes are honest truthful people but who are the berry pickers???!!!
Having picked berries in Sweden during my student days there, I know that most berry pickers are foreigners, like seasonal workers from Poland, Lithuania, Estonia etc, other immigrants like us foreign students etc.
However, whoever that picked it and handed it in, despite the harsh world economy; lived up to that swedish standard of honesty which is great.
Kudos to that person and I hope he/she gets a little reward.
Yours Sincerely,
A. Liar
(Only joking :-) Actually, it would not surprise me if this money is drug related.)
Last year when I come to this country, my important documents and money was lost in stockholm central but thanks God I get my all things few days back from lost and found office. I am really thankful to all those.
I usually joke with my friends that swedish people are as cool as the Sweden weather but in a positive sense :) . God bless all honest people.
I also salute to those berry pickers who shows their highest level of honesty.
