GM.. hasn't been the best owner of Saab really but if they make it Swedish I don't care what they have and haven't done and I'm really grateful to the Norwegian and American/Americans who will make this happen. I seriously hope it will work our for Volvo.. that's more important.. How many thinks Volvo will become Chinese owned?
Jöran Hägglund obviously should not be involved in negotiations of this type. He should be fired as he is a hinderance, due to making public comments.
I do hope that Koenigsegg is ultimately sucessful in bringing Saab back under European control. Koenigsegg has some very interesting ideas, as well as showing how far envormentally friendly fuels can be pushed in the automotive industry. There patents show they are ready for the next generation of eco cars and have the potential to lead the pack very early on that one.
It is unfortunate an European buyer has not been found to bring Volvo directly back under European control again.
GM chose a silly buyer with no experience, little capital, and way to secretive. Bad for Saab. Bad for Sweden. Saab needs experts! This would be funny if it wasn't so sad!
The Government should insist on dumping Koenigsegg! I give Hägglund credit for being open as the Government should. He can't help this is a bad buyer and bad deal for Sweden.
