Disturbances related to several fires continued on Friday night in Gothenburg in western Sweden.

“Objects were also thrown at busses and trams; among other things a windshield was broken,” said deputy police commander Sven Persson.

Rocks were also thrown at emergency response workers. On the way to a fire in the neighbourhood of Gällbo, a firetruck was hit by a large rock that broke the windshield. Two firemen were injured.

“One guy had glass splinters in his eye and another had an injured arm,” Bo Holmlund of the greater Gothenburg Fire and Rescue Service (Räddningstjänsten Storgöteborg) told TT news agency.

The firemen were treated on the scene by paramedics and were then taken to the hospital, but neither of them were seriously injured.

Two cars caught fire on Friday night in the neighbourhood of Västra Frölunda in Gothenburg. Police said that when they arrived a lot of people were out on the street to see what had happened.

“The fire had evidently started in one car and then spread to the other,” Persson said.

And the inept swedish police response was: As long if they dont burn down systembologet then everything is fine with us.

You know what, they f**king deserve this, if they keep on being pacifists then this is just going to get worse. I feel sorry for the poor firemen but i hope they raise enough of a ruckus to make the govt acknowledge that harsher measures have to be taken.

The govt *has* to grow a pair or these "groups" are just going to get more daring, ignoring the crazies is not going to make them go away.

I wonder what its going to take before the govt decides enough is enough? 1 dead? 10? 100?

When and if the Swedes awaken from their torpor and decide to act to stop this slow takeover, I would not want to be a Muslim in Sweden, I think it will be very uncomfortable for adherents to the Religion of Pieces at that point. "Alan's Snackbar!"

Put a 50 caliber gun on top of the fire trucks and if someone throws rocks at them, well, I think you can figure out the rest. They won't be to throw rocks again, that's for sure.
19:34 August 29, 2009 by DreEstwd
I wonder what would happen to these rock throwers if they tried this in the countries where they came from? Attacking a fire truck or ambulance is just the lowest of the low. These neighborhoods should be bombed.

A country/people's greatness can sometimes be their downfall

Why on earth didn't the police arrest those stone throwers? Fire fighters are going about their duty, trying to put out a fire & save lives only to be set upon by some undesirable elements. I wish the police had arrested them all instead of dispersing them.

Swedes, a country is only as great as its people/leaders, please don't allow such terrible acts to continue, nip it in the bud. Proper jail time with hard labour is good for a start. Long live Sweden

muslims= stone throwing= demanding halal meat in schools to secure jobs= lot of other demands= bombs=riot.

this is always common with muslims where ever they are in the world.
08:55 August 30, 2009 by peropaco
I heard the reason the police made no arrest at the stone trowers was because they hade to chase down a motoris that was driving 10 kilometres above the speed limit.

Yobs are Yobs are Yobs.

Yes the Police should be more pro-active in stopping gang violence.

So many of the posts on this subject just assume that the culprits are Muslims, and all crime in Sweden is carried out by Muslims.

WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE

PUT UP OR SHUT UP

Sweden has known peace for about 200 years. It exists in unreality. It is my hope that Sweden experiences much more of this Muslim violence in its cities so that it may enter the real world

of the early 21 st Century. Another possibility is for large numbers of Swedes to

volunteer to live in Israel for a period of time so that they may be awakened from their 200 year slumber in magic fairyland. Of course, the other alternative is for the Norwegians to revert back to their old Viking ways of 1100 years ago,and stage

attacks of murder and plunder throughout Sweden. Whatever it takes.

Rick Methven #9: PC means governments, European-wide, won't state the fact that Moslems commit crimes at a rate higher than other ethnic groups but since it is immigration (legal and illegal) from Moslem countries which has been the main source of European-wide immigration in the past 30 years and since crime figures in every European country have soared, in all categories in that same time period, it is a fair assessment, also coupled with Islam's intolerant, violent doctrines, history and tactics. Also, Michel Thoomis, Head of French Police Union Oct 6, 2006: "We are in a state of civil war, orchestrated by radical Islamists. This is not a question of urban violence any more, it is an intifada." (he was speaking of Moslem riots throughout France in the banlieus and countering newspaper references to "youths rioting due to unemployment, poverty, discrimination" etc, the usual Left mantra).
