Swedish woman arrested over drug-stuffed hairbrushes

A 22-year-old woman from Jönköping in central Sweden was arrested in Brazil at the weekend with more than two kilogrammes of cocaine in her luggage.

As the woman made her way through a security checkpoint at the airport in Natal in northern Brazil, authorities noticed she was carrying a number of hairbrushes in her bags.
Upon closer examination, the brushes were found to be hollowed out and filled with cocaine.
All told, authorities found 2.36 kilogrammes of the drug stuffed in 26 brushes and 31 hammers.
The woman claims that she didn’t know there were drugs in her bags.
A spokesperson with the Swedish foreign ministry confirmed that a Swedish woman in her twenties had been arrested in Brazil.
The 22-year-old Swede faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

I wonder if this was part of a convert to god program from people in Jönköping, which has more churchs than most people have had hot dinners.
Sounds like an idiot. How anyone expects to make money transporting drugs from Sweden to Brazil, instead of vice versa, is beyond me.
Scandinavian young people are quite famous in southamerica for travelling there to indulge themselves in cheap drugs frenzy. Many of them end up as "mulas" in order to get more drugs or money to buy them.
