Four in ten back far-right cooperation: poll

This is a sad state of affairs for Sweden that Swedes feel a level of support for a far right party like this. It goes to show that the Swedish public is starting to openly admit that the Swedens policy of uncontrolled and poorly managed immigration is not for them.

It is time for the major parties here to acknowledge that the current immigration policy is not working and is not good for Sweden. If these parties set a policy that sets Swedens own best interest as a high priority rather than the current "bend over and take it just to appear nice" policy, then the support for SD would erode over night.

This does not suprise me. This will be the back door by which the racists will rise to power and finally destroy Sweden. Sweden did not fight in WW2 so does not have a clue what the far right is really about. The rest of us in Europe learned that lesson the hard way. My family is still trying to find the last of our war dead in combat, 70 years later.

There is serious problems in Sweden with immigration, but those are nearly all caused by the immigration department. Personally I think the people in the immigration department are deliberately creating the situation that is occurring, so as to create a racist backlash.

If Sweden really needs young workers, why is Sweden not prioritising young people from the European Union first, instead of discriminating against them in favour of people outside the European Union.

The employment agency has arbetsjobbsplatts for asylum seeker people from outside the European Union to place them in jobs, but will not help an EU citizen unless they have been here 3 years. That is blatant racism against Europeans.

If someone wants to create hatred against groups from outside Europe, that is the perfect way to go about it. If they treated everyone equally, I would not have an issue, but they do not treat everyone equally. They should either place all people equally in jobs, or no one at all.

When I am back in Glasgow, Belfast and Donegal, I know lots of people who are very hard workers who would move to Sweden in a heartbeat, but from the Sweden rules for immigrants which descriminate against Europeans, know they are not welcome. I have spoken to Polish, Czech, German, French, Dutch, Austrian, Irish, English, Welsh, Scottish and Swiss immigrants to Sweden about this, who work in unskilled labour jobs. All have noticed the same thing. It is different from skilled labour and very noticeable at the bottom of the ladder. At the bottom of the ladder is where the majority of voters are.

Strangely when looking through my address book, last night, I noticed that at least 1/3 of people I know from Ulster and Scotland have last names that are purely Scandinavian in origin. 70% of the people in my address book are of Germanic/Scandinavian descent. The discrimination against them is interesting and does makes me wonder about what is really going on in the immigration department in Sweden.

I think there is more to the rules in the immigration department and employment agency than we are being told. I also believe that whoever sets those rules is blatantly racist.

What you hear is a nation full of people who are fed up with excessive violent crime, the highest rape #s in Europe, rocks being thrown at their paramedics/firefighters/police and tax money being wasted on a generally ungrateful group of people. Cue the PC brigade recklessly throwing around the words 'racism' and 'Nazi'..............now.

I have went to Rosengård in Malmo and Sodertalje and watched the people attacking the firefighters and ambulance drivers.

I watched the people who gave orders and the people who carried them out, when they were performing the attacks. Those attacks are purely organised. Only occassionally is it kids acting on there own. About 8 out of 10 attcks are planned by adults and executed by kids.

The kids parents should have there children removed as they are not fit to look after them.

I have seen this nonsense before in Belfast and Derry in Northern Ireland. Different people pulling the strings, but the exact same thing with the same methods and aims.

Being from Belfast, I know exactly what to look for and how to observe, without being seen. Every single time I have watched as the people giving the orders left and went straight to a prayer house or more accurately headquarters.

The people directing these attacks want to turn there areas into no go areas. Then they can cement control. It is purely politcal people who are doing this. The kids are being used, for poltical ends and having there lives destroyed in the process.

The very small minority of people who are directing these attacks on firefighters and ambulance drivers need to be identified and sent back to there country of origin. If they are in danger by being sent back there, that is there own problem. They should have thought before directing attacks on emergency response crews who daily risk there lives to save all people, regardless of creed, colour, sex or race.

If you don't believe me, ask a firefighter or ambulance worker is who is not Swedish in origin. You will get a response that will make anything that the Sweden Democrats say, look like a statement by a dope smoking hippy, regarding what should be done about it. Swediesh response workers play it down. Immigrant response workers will tell you exactly what is occurring.

I always make a point of confirming everything for myself.

Scary, scary, scary. The SD basically want to enact their own version of Shariah law. They want to reintroduce the death penalty, take away gay rights, reintroduce forced military conscription, build up the Swedish military industrial complex (more funding to the military, stop the phase-out of mandatory conscription, give incentives to the Swedish arms manufacturers), and use your tax money to send immigrants to the countries of their heritage.

It's really ironic how many votes SD would get if they increased immigration from very conservative places within the Islamic world... yet they want to send them all packing out of Sweden.

It's also ironic how they claim to defend Swedish values, when, whether you like it or not, far-right values aren't Swedish values... Swedish values are the opposite of the values they stand for.

But in the end, the poitical parties have to cooperate in some way or else the party will feel martyred (sound familiar?) and then grow in strength based on that.

Beynch, what do you mean it isn't true? Have you looked at their website? Have you read their party platform? Which parts of what I said about SD aren't true? I've spent time reading all the party platforms of all the major political parties in Sweden in a search to find one that fits me best. I don't think you're quite aware of what the SD's policies are, since I did not exaggerate them at all.

I am a Jew and I am voting for SD! Its time we Europeans stand against the ethnic cleansing performed against us by the left parties that were in control for the last 3 decades.

The lack of sunshine is a big reason as well as the low level of privatisation jobwise.

Actually many swedes do return home as they miss the family ties.

Assylum seekers who are violent, enter the host country on false premises. They have to be sent back or there is no system/country.

As a very frequent visitor from Ireland for over 20 years I can tell you the problem very simply. Sweden created the most advanced progressive culture the world has ever seen. This was built to a considerable degree on Swedish cultural principles built up over many centuries. I refer to honesty, tolerance, a work etich etc.

Believe me now when I say this - and sorry for the flame. SWEDEN IS BEING DESTROYED. You simply cannot import vast numbers of people from utterly and totally incompatible cultures and expect Sweden to stay the same. I have seen a dramatic decline in Sweden over 20 years due to this. The thing that you did not learn was that if you put large groups of very different people together in the one place there eventually will be trouble. There are two competing interests which sooner or later will flare up. I feel its far more mature and honest for everyone just to admit this. I see nothing wrong with that. We are not talking about some people being better than others just different, so you live in peace in your country with your fellow similarly minded citizens and I live in mine with my similarly minded fellow citizens. I have read many books which consistently show the majority of people in many countries actually want ethnically homogeneous societies. They simply work better when everyone has common interests, culture and beliefs. People like sameness. People seek out friends who have common interests.

When you rent out a room in your house you often look for someone who will "fit in" the same should go for your country.

All I have to say is my swedish father in-law is seeing red over the islamification of his hometown Malmo and is really digging the SD besides the fact his wife is Syrian. You guys do the math. Swedes need a sharp dose of Nationalism, period. Sweden is for the Swedes, and the muslims should bend over backwards to be excepted, not the other way around. That's not racism, it's Sweden. I am a patriotic Swedish and against islamification of sweden. I am not a muslim and will never be. However, i want to know why we are so fixaset about islam. Christianity started of as violently as islam, actually probably more so. Both should be sent back to the mmiddle east where they can indulge in there hatred of women, child abusing and wathever else they get up to.

Immigration is not a bad thing AS LONG as those heading into a country can contribute in some way to it - take the policies of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, America. You have to have a referee/sponsor, a way of supporting yourself and your family, a job to go to and a home. If you can satisfy their criteria then you are welcomed in to begin a new life there under their rules and regulations, culture etc.

I am Jewish and also have afro-caribbean ancestry yet I would vote for the SD over any other party or coalition available to vote for. Why? Because I am a nazi? Nope. Because I am intolerant of other cultures? - nope. Because I don't think we should help people in need (asylum seekers) nope.

I would vote for them because they are the ONLY party who can see that the current immigration and intergration policies of this country and others (UK for one) is just not working.

We have too many claiming asylum and then moaning about their lot here - calling the race card at every opportunity, stoning our emergency services workers and more besides.

What is so inherently wrong with asking those who settle here to follow our cultural norms and work their butts off to fit in rather than us accommodating their every whim just to make them feel "at home"?

That is a perfectly valid question imo. Diversity within a population is good - differences are good but NOT at the expense of the host countries way of life.

No problem. It is just refreshing to have an exchange of viewpoints where those in favour of changing immigration are actually allowed to discuss without being branded the usual.

If they do gain a seat in the next Parliament then the rest of the parties will realise that people are fed up - not everyone, but enough of the population to warrant a change in the system. That can only be to everyones benefit. If immigration and integration were sorted out, then we COULD live more easily amongst one another so long as immigrants were willing (as most European immigrants are) to assimilate into daily life and keep their own cultures and beliefs out of mainstream and for after work, holidays and week-ends.

I wish that people would consider the SD as a whole and not just vote for it to make a point about immigration. Being gay and pagan, my views on Islam itself are similar to SD-voters. But SD also wants to take the right of gay couples to adopt children away. And that scares me. And that helps me understand how the average Muslim immigrant, who does not stone emergency workers, could feel pretty scared about the rhetoric coming out of SD. The average trouble person who stones emergency workers and sets cars on fire are the chidren of immigrants who have spent most, if not all of their lives in Sweden. That points to there being serious problems with integration. I definitely think there are some serious problems with integration in this country. But SD is not bringing very many constructive ideas to the table. My fear is that they will get votes from otherwise intelligent people who want to see integration improve in this country. I don't think the SD can or will accomplish that. Hopefully the major parties will take up the issue of integration in an intelligent manner. But SD's manner is not intelligent, and their rhetoric does inspire fear in regular, law-abiding people in Sweden. Me, for instance, because of their anti-gay stance. And that makes me understand how regular, non-stoning Muslims in Sweden could feel scared as well. I hope that if people are concerned about integration and immigration, they don't just resort to SD because it's their only choice. Unfortunately it seems like that IS their only choice, but it's a pretty poor choice, and that is what makes me fear them gaining entry into the Riksdag. I'm trying to be honest here. People can debate these things intellectually all day long, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there is a difference between promoting a sound immigration and integration policy and the SD's policy and rhetoric which blatantly blankets groups as wrong for Sweden (Muslims and homosexuals). If SD weren't gay, or I weren't gay, I'd possibly consider voting for them too, for the reason that Islam is just as scary to me, being gay, as the SD is. But my situation has caused me to think deeper on it and I hope some of you can think more deeply about the fear that this rhetoric can inspire in regular people who just want to work and get on with life in Sweden.
