Swine flu cases at record high

Cases of swine flu reached record levels last week with 198 new cases in comparison to 93 the previous week. The Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control (Smittskyddsinstitutet) has now warned of serious affections among 15-40-year-olds.

Most of the new cases have been recorded in the northern province of Norrland and in Stockholm and primarily concern outbreaks of the flu in schools.

To date 1,778 cases of the new A(H1H1) virus have been recorded since the outbreak began.

"It is mainly the parents that we are most concerned for. They are the ones that will get the sickest. I don't think it will be long before we get one or more serious cases," said Annika Linde at the institute.

Sweden launched a mass vaccination programme in a bid to control the flu pandemic on October 12th. Several of the new cases are connected to the vaccine.

Five cases of allergic reactions have been reported by patients after having been given the vaccine. The patients required hospital care although symptoms were eased after treatment.

Around 200 reports of people suffering side effects after receiving the vaccine have so far been reported to the Swedish Medical Products Agency (Läkemedelsverket).

The most common complaints are pains in arm in the vicinity of the injection, as well as muscle and joint pain.

Other complaints include a general feeling of illness and mild influenza symptoms.

Those suffering allergic reactions have complained of dizziness, rashes, itching and pain in the chest.

Of the around 200 cases, 100 have come from personnel employed within healthcare, one of the prioritized groups, and the rest from the general public.

"This do not differ from what we already know nor what we had expected. The general picture is of mild influenza symptoms and localized symptoms from the injections," said Gunilla Sjölin Forsberg at the agency.

From previous studies it is known that there are likely to be a large number of unreported cases of side effects. The actual figure could be ten times as high.

On 22 and 23rd Oct, Expressen and Metro have also reported 2 deaths connected with the vaccine. Perhaps 'The Local' should explore that story for the benefit of their readers....Its mildly relevant in my opinion.

I have posted this information in another comment relating to the vaccines but am posting this again to try and educate people.

From Dr. Boyd Haley, professor and chair, Department of Chemistry, University of Kentucky: "A single vaccine given to a six pound newborn is the equivalent of giving a 180 pound adult 30 vaccinations on the same day." "You couldn't construct a study to show that thimerosal (mercury in vaccines) is safe. It's just too damn toxic".

From a website promotion for a DVD entitled Shoot 'Em Up the Documentary, comes this information. "Did you know that we give children 23 viruses before they reach the age of 5? Did you know autism skyrocketed after the addition of more vaccines on the mandatory schedule and did you know that these vaccines contain thimerosal, which is ethyl mercury?" By the way, mercury is considered more toxic than lead and second in toxicity only to uranium.

Most vaccines are cocktails of pathogens from cultures derived from aborted fetuses or animal tissues. Thimerersol or ethyl mercury is not the only additive or preservative. Dr. Rima E. Laibow, MD, lists the ingredients common to vaccines, with some of her own comments, including, "If children receive all recommended vaccines, they will receive many times the supposed 'allowable safe limit' for mercury in the first two years of life.

Additional ingredients include antibiotics, aluminum gels, formaldehyde, monosodium glutamate (MSG), aluminum "which when combined with silicon deficiency and fluoride, results in the neurofibrillary tangles seen in Alzheimers disease, formaldehyde, MSG," a potent neurological excitotoxin which, like aspartame, can cause seizures, brain tumors, etc.

Dr. Rima goes on: "Squalene, a response enhancer or adjuvant, is present in many modern vaccines and is highly irritating to the immune system. . . . (used in) Anthrax vaccine in Gulf War I soldiers is believed by many to be a primary cause, along with depleted uranium, of the devastating condition known as Gulf War Syndrome".

Let say that if you get sick with the H1N1 virus, you will be at home 3-4 days.

But, if you take the flu shot, you also need to miss work, at least half a day, and since a lot of people are going to have side effects like "Around 200 reports of people suffering side effects after receiving the vaccine have so far been reported to the Swedish Medical Products Agency (Läkemedelsverket).", this means that by taking the vaccine, you may also have to miss work, 1-2, even 3 days.

Since they want to vaccinate all the medical staff, this means that nurses and doctors will be missing work because of side effects. We are talking about 1 out of 10.

Worst, it doesn't mean that you are vaccinated that you won't get the H1N1 flu.

"Distributed for peer review last week, the study confounded infectious-disease experts in suggesting that people vaccinated against seasonal flu are twice as likely to catch swine flu." Source http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=15516

The pro-vaccination say that we have to protect the old people who are sick, but it looks like they are just killing them with the vaccine. They suspect that the vaccine may be to strong, but the still want to give it to pregnant women.

Is it just me or this world is becoming insane?

I find it interesting that this sudden dramatic increase in Swineflu cases has occured just as the vaccine is becomming available to the general population in Sweden. Some fear related arm twisting going on here perhaps.

This flu is man made (it has genetic material from swineflu, birdflu and seasonal flu, which means that it cannot be created in nature do to the way a virus replicates itself). The vaccine for this man made flu was patented in August 2008 7 months before the Swineflu emerged as an entirely natural, new flu.

This flu is also less deadly than seasonal flu due to the fact it misses a certain protein that is common to all killer flu's. This protein is very important if the flu is going to become deadly. If you want the research to back this up go to www.cmef.eu and read the science (though it's 60% in swedish).

If the vaccine is so safe then WHY is the German parliament and military being given a different vaccine to the rest of the population?

Baxter corporation (making the vaccine) have admitted on a radio show (link to which is on cmef.eu's homepage) that they are using the human population as guinea pigs and tracking 9000 of those who tack the vaccine.

Finally if this vaccine is so neccessary then why do we need to be told that it is neccessary, why are there fear campaigns? If this vaccine was really neccessary then the swine flu would speak for itself.

"Finally if this vaccine is so neccessary then why do we need to be told that it is neccessary, why are there fear campaigns? If this vaccine was really neccessary then the swine flu would speak for itself."

It makes me think... For instance, I have over 100 friends on Facebook. Lets assume that if one of them or their relatives or friends have had the H1N1 flu, I am pretty sure I would have heard of it.

How come, if the H1N1 virus is so dangerous, so virulent, so "pandemical", I don't know anyone who have had the flu?
11:59 October 23, 2009 by drew222
well I have a four month and two year old in the house and with my work I deal with the general public daily. I personally took the vaccine on Monday at 3 pm had pain in my arm like I had been punched in the arm pretty hard. But not so serious . On tuesday morning felt fine tuesday at 2 pm felt like I had mild flu symptoms and by bedtime felt normal again. NOT SO TRAUMATIZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY wife had the shot WED. and the Exact same symptoms as me. Definately no long lasting symptoms.

I am also a major conspiracy theorist, but I believe the powers that be are plotting against THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES. Population control. Research plans with the African Union and fastest growing economies in the world. I believe the vaccine is made to work. On those whose governments can afford to get their hands on it.
12:00 October 23, 2009 by Ozpot
I have heard that some people who have had the flu didn't even know, they were shocked and said "is that it", they thought it was going to be something terrible after all the Sensationalism by the media.

The governments already bought the vaccine hence pharma companies have made their billions already . WHY would the govmt. want to harm TAX PAYERS

the VACCINE should be Taken in my opinon..
12:24 October 23, 2009 by Ozpot
Why take it just because the goverment has paid for it, doesn't make sense. The goverment needs to justify the purchase if anything, hence the media attention still.
14:09 October 23, 2009 by Nemesis
Why is there so many conspiracy theorists on the Local?

I would love the editor of the Local to answer that?

Why does the Local encourage comments from the deranged?
14:14 October 23, 2009 by sebseb
Nemesis,

why are there so many sheep on The Local? Can't you just think by yourself and stop calling your governemnt "mommy"?
14:29 October 23, 2009 by Ozpot
Nemesis, maybe people are starting to wake up.

Most of the sheeple get all the information from TV and Newspapers and that is their basis of their knowledge.

Because sheeple all watch the same TV shows and read the same newspapers they form the same conclusions, they are subconsciously programmed and don't even realise, and consider those who like to find out things for themselves "Conspiracy Theorists" .

The people who like to find alternative sources of information are more clued into what is really going on in the world. The more you study and look into things you will realise just how far gone this world is and is going.
16:15 October 23, 2009 by Sameth
"alternative sources of information " You mean internet, Dr. Sheldon, Expressen, Metro, the local and pseudo-scientist claiming that this virus can not be "created" in nature? Interesting...

BTW, why are you all so angry, nobody forces you to take the vaccine if you really don't want to?

But to be fair, I am also putting the blame on the scientists and governments, not for "creating" the virus or having some secret deals but for lack of transparent and easily understanble explanations.

It is another example of miscommunication from their parts. Instead of either not saying anything (and let the journalist spread whichever news has the most selling power (BTW, it is really funny that after being mostly responsible for the "fear campaign " as someone said, they are now blaming everybody else for it) or just say "trust us" , they should have explained in simple terms the causes and consequences of taking or not taking the vaccine. Then it would be up to everyone to make their own rational decision.
16:32 October 23, 2009 by sebseb
Sameth,

also on the Aftonbladet and even on Lakarmedlverket, so what is your point?
16:33 October 23, 2009 by askin
I have read a report on one of these: either on www.thesop.com or www.healthresources.com or dr.mercola.com

that SANOFI (French pharma industry) invested $ 250-300 million and built a vaccin production lab in Mexico 6 months before the first swine flu virus appeared in the world, in Mexico. How did they know that the swine flu virus would first appear in Mexico??? A virus which was constructed in the lab first and did not originally exist in the nature.

Sanofi and Baxter are all reported to the FBI and also U:N: and WHO for supporting them, said the article.

A big tribunal must be set up against these pharma industries and the guilty must be properly punished.

This case is just as serious as the after WW2 tribunal or the tribunal against the Yugoslav leaders who made massacres.

Thank you thelocal.se for this possibility to bring up to the surface such important world problems.

Thanks also to Osokin, Ozpot, sebseb, törnrosa for their important comments. This swine influenza case is just as important as a ww.
16:38 October 23, 2009 by suso
we have some solid facts in our hands post vaccination:

2 recorded deaths,5 rather serious side effects(judged by need for hospitalisation),200 cases of reported side effects.

But how can we judge the significance of these figures without knowing number of those vaccinated?

would suggest some sort of preferential facts giving.
16:50 October 23, 2009 by mkvgtired
Nemesis, dont waste your time. You can present enough evidence to the contrary, but they will never use logic. Israel and George Bush planned 9/11. "Heat cant melt steel" (i.e. the collapse) even though it is well known in the fire fighting community that heat can WEAKEN steel and cause a building to collapse (http://www.ksdk.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=170428). The link is just one example of this happening. This happened to an old dairy factory in Saint Louis. Although who knows maybe al-Queda has graduated to attacking vacant factories. AIDS was created by the US government to wipe out homosexuality. Swine flue was created to (as drew said) wipe out taxpayers. These conspiracy theories make no sense. If governments wanted population control in 3rd world countries they could simply cut off aid. Not to mention there is no doubt that some of the scientists working on these "projects" would have a conscious and leak info about them. I dont know why these conspiracy theorists think it is virtuous to "think for yourself", i.e. subscribe to ideas that make no sense. Then they act as if others are the ones who need to be pulled back into reality. Just get them a megaphone so they can run to the nearest busy street corner and scream about government (and corporate) conspiracies leading to the end of the world.
18:30 October 23, 2009 by miss V
I don't understand why some people are so reluctant to questioning things. Doubt is something that brings progress. Should everyone just take things for granted? So, by that logic if someone tells me it is good to eat sh** I should just do it without questioning? Why I am not allowed to express doubt and ask for evidence?? It wouldn't be the first nor the last time the governments to lie.
19:05 October 23, 2009 by mkvgtired
askin, Practically every multinational that does business in the western hemisphere has a factory in Mexico. It has a free trade agreement with the US and Canada, yet offers a much lower cost of production. Pharmaceutical companies make much more money by curing diseases than infecting people with them. In their later years people consume a much greater (and usually pricier amount) of Big Pharma products. It would not make sense for them to kill people off. The reason we live much longer now compared to 100 years ago has a lot to do with these "evil" corporations.

miss V, I think people should question everything their government does. To convince others one has to present a strong case backed by solid evidence. The fact that a French multinational opened a factory in Mexico means nothing. If you go over the Mexican border there are factories from European, Asian, US/Canadian, etc, etc. companies. I always question motives and outcomes, but you should not believe something with such flimsy evidence backing it up. And then when these said believers call others stupid or unintelligent for not believing the same thing backed by the flimsy evidence it just alienates them further. By all means question authorities and corporations, but be willing to change your point of view if you are overwhelmingly disproved. This also means questioning the Swedish government. I see a lot of criticism of the US government, but almost none of the Swedish government. If there is an article about something the Swedish government did, the conversation usually quickly turns to the reason that it is America's fault somehow. I don't see how that is valid criticism.

I reckon paranoia has kicked in hard amongst everyone..

nothing you read is academic studied or approved .

the fact is the influenza shot every one is blabbing on about is no different than the one most elderly people take every winter !!

the difference is the swine flu spreads quicker and is more dangerous than the previous flues.

so taking a shot for the first time ain't going to turn you into an Alien from space.

every one should be pleased Sweden is giving it to everyone for freee!!!!

peace.

Answer to mkvgtired.

Are you disputing the below facts?

a)Swine flu virus was constructed in the lab and then was let to outside. It did not exist in the nature before. Who let it go out of hand to the nature and infect people? Is this not a crime?

b) SANOFI invested $ 250-300 to build a factory in Mexico just to produce the swine flue vaccin 6 months before the first swine flu casze appeared in Mexico- as the first time

in the world and caused an epidemi.

c) An American journalist reported to the FBI, Sanofi and Baxter and also UN and WHO for supporting them. (ref an article in www.thesop.org - "Journalist reporting U.N." etc.

You can find this article in their index.

How did Sanofi know the first swine flu case and epidemi

would start in Mexico and built a plant to produce the vaccin

there ? If they built the plant after the epidemi start in Mexico, I agree with you, but they built the vaccination plant 6 months prior to the epidemi in Mexico.

The amount the three swine flu vaccin producers will make as profit (Sanofi, Baxter, Smuth Kline) is estimated to be 49 billion. hard to match this amount by useful medicines, in a world of economic crisis where people don\t have enough money

to buy food / let alone expensive medicines. But, these industries are not selling the vaccin to people, but to the governments and with agreements (first time in the history)

that they accept no responsibility if the vaccin harms people!!!

Business is business / useful medicines or harmful ones...

Please read www.dr.mercola.com and www.healthresources.com for details on the swineflu vaccin. My doctor in Sweden recommends it to me, but he won\t have it himself / like 50%

doctors in U.K. who refused to have themselves vaccinated with this vaccin.

Two Swedes died after this vaccin in Sweden in the first week

of its application in Sweden. More are anticipated to die.

There are many evidences that more children and adults died of the seasonal flu vaccin than the seasonal flu itself.

Is this what you call beneficial medicines?
22:11 October 23, 2009 by mkvgtired
I call beneficial medicines all of the medicines developed by these companies that have saved countless lives. But then again I wasn't aware that Pfizer created heart disease in a lab, AstraZenica created Alzheimers in a lab, and GE created brain cancer so their MRI machines could find it. The fact is people live CONSIDERABLY longer due to these companies. They are always criticized because of their profits, but do you know how expensive it is to create a drug? I do not work for a drug company, but did a research project on Pfizer in college. It can cost hundreds of millions, or even billions, of dollars to develop a drug and get it approved. I am not going to get in a back and forth with you. You believe what you believe, and I have my own beliefs. I will probably not convince you and you will probably not convince me otherwise. You are free to believe whatever you want. My main problem was not with you believing it it, it was with the other people demonizing those whos beliefs differ from theirs.
10:54 October 25, 2009 by miss V
Yes, everyone has the right to belive what they like, with the evidence provided. I agree that the evidence might not be enough, like for example building the plant in Mexico where the outbreak began, (really doesn't prove a thing), but what can we expect when the accused and the judge are the same. Pharmaceutical industry is incredibly powerful, and ordinary people should be very careful. I don't know if someone remembers the case of medicine thalidomide, which was supposed to treat nausea in pregnant women and caused serious birth defects. Not to mention DDT, and many other cases. These medicines(and a pecticide) went through all the trials and test and were approved by the governments. In Sweden it is forbiden by law the doctor to be in contact with drug company representatives, but not in the rest of Europe. They bribe doctors to use their expensive medicines, and there was a scandal with Novartis (they make swine flu vaccine) recently and a wider international investigation was suggested due to suspicion of same acts of corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Switzerland, and Italy.

The bottom line is: I myself don't trust ANYONE. I question everyone and everything and always ask the second opionion-as much as I can of course. I have one life and will not allow someone destroying it, because government didn't give me my life, but my parents. But of course, I don't think others are idiots if they don't have suspicious personallity.

@ miss V

Well put, thank you very much for your answer.
01:39 October 26, 2009 by askin
The question is: Who let this lab-constructed virus out of the lab and why, as the virus did not exist in the nature before?

Are the parliamets too weak to investigate this and punish the guilty and prevent the re-occurence of such corruptions?
02:24 October 26, 2009 by mkvgtired
miss V, I can see how a naturally suspicious person would easily be suspicious of the pharma industry. There is a lot to be suspicious about. They have not always been the most trustworthy, albeit they are forced to be truthful with the threat of punitive court damages. If they are found guilty of lying they can easily be bankrupted. Because of this it is much to expensive for them to lie (although they still have/will try in some instances).
09:26 October 26, 2009 by AstroSphinx.se
"The question is: Who let this lab-constructed virus out of the lab and why, as the virus did not exist in the nature before?

Are the parliamets too weak to investigate this and punish the guilty and prevent the re-occurence of such corruptions?"

@ askin-

I can only assume there is ONE reason that no one pursucutes the guilty parties of negligance (at the very least) Too many people have been dominated by one voice in the media, and when idependant science and health officals (as well as "whistle blowers") have evidence of some foul play going on, most people simply ignore it because they feel overwhelmed.

I usually stick to the facts that most people can "accept" as fact, and fact number one is that the insert for the vaccine has stated that this is not an effective nor recommended drug for people within the WHO declared "risk group"; that all vaccinations have bad track record and at best are ineffective at WORST deadly, and that WHO had lowered the standards for what is a "pandemic" in the last 8 months.

NO one can dispute these claims are "conspiracy theories" thus, perhaps they will look into the so called "conspiracies" and get some information which actually makes some sense.. I see lots of possiblity for enlightenment as long as people choose what they know to be sound and logical, and break free of the WHO/CDC/AMERICAN dominated media..

Our own country we have people who work for WHO who also are strong vaccination advocates.. possibly because they have a vested interest in it. These people are not looking at the situation with logic but with "towing the line" they are not really worth listening to in spite of their years of "experience".
