Woods' Swedish wife in car crash rescue

Tiger Woods' Swedish wife Elin Nordegren came to the rescue of her sporting superstar husband with a golf club when he was involved in a car crash outside his Florida home on Friday.

Police said 33-year-old Woods was outside of the vehicle with his wife Elin next to him when they arrived. Woods was in a semi-conscious state, suffering from cuts to both his upper and lower lip.
His wife told police she heard the crash and then used a golf club to break a window of the Cadillac SUV to help her husband.
"I believe he struck his head and his wife came out and pulled him out," Windermere Mayor Gary Bruhn told CNN.
"His wife was there and Mr Woods was on the ground. I am not going to say in and out of consciousness, but he was dazed. He was bleeding from the mouth and nose."
The golfer has since issued a statement via his website which reads: "We appreciate very much everyone's thoughts and well wishes."
No charges have been laid as police said they are still investigating the cause of the crash.
Bruhn said just because there is an ongoing probe doesn't mean there will be charges. "I personally feel it was an accident," he told CNN. "I have read the police report and it says there was no alcohol involved."
Superstar Woods, a 14-time major winner, had been set to play his last tournament of the year at the Chevron World Challenge at Thousand Oaks, California, December 3-6 - an event he hosts annually.
He was scheduled to hold a news conference on Tuesday in California.
Earlier this month, Woods landed the Australian Masters but had returned home for a fortnight's break prior to playing in the World Challenge next week.
Woods and former model Nordegren married in 2004 and the couple have two children.

Too many wierd suspicious things going on here. The 2:30 in the morning quick get away and for what, to be first in line at all the big Christmas sales openings ? I don't think so.

The mind therefore boggles as to how he did so much damage to various objects,the car and himself in what is normally a slow-speed,limited distance maneuver , .....unless of course he had a 2km long drive way and did 0 to 100 in a few seconds.
No alcohol involved?
Well USA being what it is regarding its attitude to famous names and celebs, I would be surprised if any tests were even conducted,......or if so and positive,.....probably quickly swept under the carpet........so no surprise there.
Yeah, the first thing a wife should pick up when her husband is in a dar accident is a golf club -- all purpose tool...kind of a jaws-of-life for the average person.
keep in mind those who travel around the world can be on funny time zones. when I pop over to sweden from usa it takes me a week or more to get on swedish times. some days I am awake at 2:am other days I want to sleep to 11:am.
Tigger has been "down under" and in China. I would like to see you with 3 week jet lag and see how you do?!!?

I don't think with the cash and talent Tiger has he's very worried about black-white implications.
On another note, didn't know about alleged affairs. I'm not ot one to follow celebrity lives too closely I guess. In any case, true or not, the resons behind it will not change or be known due to speculation. Perhaps we will never know.

Not sure what your problem is with women but my swedish wife is hotter and more interested in sex now that the 14 years ago we met ( she was great then too ).
This isn't an exact science but i think swedes with their lack of victorian and religious programming and their open and honest health care policies have some of the healthiest sexual attitudes in the world .
Maybe because of that the women are not going to put up with screwing around the way the women in some other cultures do. They are are great partners, raising kids, keeping a home ( great healthy intelligent lifestyle ) but as you seem to imply in your 2nd post Swedish women are not going to be your maid ..
My nephew once caddied for him at the US Open in 1999 - he discovered that Tiger is a real jerk.

I think she probably married Woods too young. She was only 23. I mean how many serious relationships did she have before Woods? Probably not many.
My guess is that she was probably just fiddling around in the USA and traveling around. She is not the first Swede to be a young aupair living in America. She was also probably modeling to make extra money on the side. She was probably well connected even before meeting Woods since she was the aupair of a well known Swedish golfer. Not just any aupair can get a job like that!
I have seen enough arguments between English/Swedish and American/Swedish couples to know that we can bring some true feelings out of these otherwise reserved Swedes. I think its fairly obvious that they probably had a bad fight like most normal couples have once and awhile. It is their business but I think Woods should not make it any worse by saying anything more. He probably just wants to forget the whole thing and try to repair things with the family whether he cheated or not otherwise they will probably divorce.
I wish them luck. If there is a divorce it is always a tragedy when there are kids involved.
