"The ice dripped in the winter sun. It was the first day when the light had been intense enough to cause dripping in the sunlight. To hear it was an extraordinary wakeup call. The cycle was happening again as it always does, always will (or so we think). I imagined that on my summer island, the bees..." READ »

Also if Fredrik Reinfeldt had bothered to check, the Chinese are now the world's biggest users of solar water heaters in new homes, significantly ahead of the USA and Germany. That process in increasing rapidly in China.
Producation lines are ramping up constantly in China for solar panels.
China is building the worlds first five carbon neutral cities over the next five years.
Why doesn't Fredrik Reinfeldt ask why the USA is not signing up to enviromental pledges, why they are so far behind in carbon neutral technology and why they keep trying to derail ITER anytime a negotiation comes up?
China has already recognised that schemes such as win, solar, todal, hydro, fission and most of all potential fusion are the way forward. Cina has made clear that if ITER is a sucess, it will follow an accelerated building plan of fusion stations.
China has laid long term plans to slowly at first and then constantly accelerating to change to the new energy production forms. They are not just saying they are doing it, they are doing it now.
What is Fredrik Reinfeldt and the USA doing apart from producing so much hot air.
Where Fredrik Reinfeldt's plans for the comparable city in Sweden that is 100% carbon neutral?
I could have sworn that I read about a scandal surrounding leading scientists 'fudging' climate change data - but who cares right? On with the show...
Most politicians have forgotten who pay their wages and think they can treat their people with utter contempt!
Precisely.
China is changing at a rate that we in the west can barely comprehend.
Over the last few years I had heard so much about China I have not been sure at times wether to believe it or not.
The pictures and videos friends of mine have taken in various Chinese cities have really opened my mind. Most westerners work in coastal cities. Some friends of mine have been around the interior of China as well and have made clear that the forward development of China is occurring in every part of China.
The ideas for the new carbon neutal cities are incredible. I have been following the technology closely as has several members of my family as we are a construction family. We are learning so much from the Chinese, that we may be possibly be able to use back home in Ireland for home building, if we can ever get planners to allow us to.
China is definately leaping forward a lot. I don't believe that people in the west have any idea just how far China has come, particularly in the last decade.
The rate of advance in China is definately accelerating.
I am starting to see more names in the scientific and engineering journals, inclduing the high end journals such as www.nature.com and www.sciencemag.org which are important indicators to me, as to how far the country has advanced and is advancing.
On television I am seeing more and more Chinese people on the discovery channel on highly complex infrastructure projects and discussing scientific advances.
I personally believe that we have not even seen the tip of the iceberg regarding how far China is going to progress.
China used to learn from us in the west. Now it is definately is a two way process. Soon we will be learning from China.
I look forward to seeing the projected Chinese moon mission on television.
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Carbon Tax is coming to town
He's making a list
And checking it twice;
Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice
Carbon Tax is coming to town
He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!
O! You better watch out!
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Carbon Tax is coming to town
Carbon Tax is coming to town
Merry Christmas everyone!

Since you want to indulge in USA conspiracy theory so much, I have some very helpful suggestions for you.
On blocket.se you can sell your belongings
On hemnet.se you can sell your home
At flysas.com you can book a one way flight not only out of Sweden, but out of Europe to any of about 50 cities in the USA were you can indulge in conspiracy theories until your heart is content.
That way we in Europe can avoid your lunatic nonsense being spouted at us from Alex Jones and others who have made a living out of the gullible in the USA, just like the religeous preachers have by misinforming the people in the USA.
Have an alien kidnapping and anal probing free trip to the USA.
Obama try to do the samething a couple of weeks ago and failed in the same way.
i don't think Chinese is gonna make any further promise beyond what they have made already - which in a way is quite agressive targets already.
Recycling is important.
i think China overall can do better than today. i noticed that they have promised on some agressive improvement plans already.
but of course, we have to be realistic as well that Chinese CO2 emission per capita is still reasonably low in compare to industrialized countries.
