4G has been around in south korea and japan for quite some time now. they are already starting to implement 5G in some areas.
nonetheless, its a great step forward, now everyone can watch TV on the train ride to work :)
So WiMax is not truly 4G, only LTE or LTE-Advanced are, and this Telia network is the first launched for LTE (though as you can see, in a kind of a beta state).
In this sense I don't think Japan and Korea have 4G. Read for example this article, it mentions speed always below 100 Mbits/s:

By the way, can you provide any reference for your 5G claim? I'm not saying you're wrong, but it could be referring to some very weird usage of the term.
