Sounds like something out of the Sopranos if someone wasn't paying the right people to keep their business 'safe'.
I do wonder how many nanoseconds late they were on there protection money or if this was the start of negotiations for a raise in payments?
Judging by the police saying they don't have any suspects, they don't want any suspects as it might disrupt there golf schedule with them.
I wish it was only about disrupting their gold schedule.. It is more about fear than anything else dear Nemesis ;-)
Last year a friend in Helsingborg pointed out a police officer having coffee with a local gang leader, who runs several cafes. I couldn't believe they could be so blatant. That told me everything I needed to know.
The police are part of the problem. They turn a blind eye because they are profiting from it as well.
I have seen the way the gangs take over immigrant business's.
Back in Northern Ireland we knew there was protection rackets, but very rarely was anything publicly seen and very few outside the rackets had a true picture no matter what people thought they knew. Here in Sweden, they might as well be advertising it on television.
Don't get me wrong. I love living in Sweden. Sweden to needs to round up its politicians, police, gangs and judiciary and then jail the lot of them, before it is completely over run with crime.
'It was supposed to blow the bloody doors off.'
"Back in Northern Ireland we knew there was protection rackets, but very rarely was anything publicly seen and very few outside the rackets had a true picture no matter what people thought they knew. Here in Sweden, they might as well be advertising it on television."
Can you explain what you mean by that? People didn't know about protection rackets in NI, but they do know about it in Sweden?
So all you protection racket theorists can you explain why some East European protection racket Mob would blow up a defunct business?
Exactly what I said.
We knew there was protection rackets, but no one ever knew the exact details, extent or what was really going on behind the scenes and the majority of what people knew was speculation. It was all behind closed doors. The people running the rackets were not in the face of the public, although were in the faces of those they extorted.
Here in Sweden they don't seem to care who see's them.
For a more complete picture I might add that the various gangs recruit from blue-eyed Swedes as well as immigrants.
