A Stockholm police officer has been reminded of his responsibilities after being caught in a Thai massage parlour under surveillance by the vice squad.

When Stockholm police visited the Thai massage parlour in southern Stockholm, known to the authorities to also function as a brothel, they found a police colleague among the customers in attendance.

As the Thai massage parlour runs both a prostitution and a massage service, it was impossible to determine the nature of the police officer's visit and whether an offence had been committed.

But as the man's visit was conducted during his working hours, the Stockholm police Section for Internal Investigations (CU) have instructed his commanding officer to remind him of his responsibilities "to perform work during working hours."

The police officer explained to CU that he had visited the massage parlour for treatment on a back complaint.

Back complaint! Yeah, I believe that one. More like itchy knob complaint.
10:46 February 8, 2010 by izbz
Back complaint? I recomend ayuveda massge. I am crazy about massage and I do frequent spa and massage parlours alot whether I am in Stockholm or travelling. And if I visit a thai massage place, I always look for older and more experience ladies. They are the one who can really do a good job.......the younger ones? They are the the ones that offer a happy ending after massage. Best I had was when I was in Singapore, got a relaxing massage from a 60 years old woman. Balinese massge....great ...no hanky panky.

He had to relieve some lower stiffness.

Haha! But I always thought the itchy knob complaints came after the visit to the parlor.

What is the point of putting a brothel under surveillance if its duality of purpose means its impossible to secure a conviction. Do they have to find them in flagrente and if so are they allowed to make a bust?

It is basic human rights to get a relief or jerk off ... if one does not have a girl friend or wife or have a girlfriend or wife who refused to do it.

never visited one of these places... but am curious (not enough to actually visit though) can anyone shed some light as to the prices?

always wondered how you would approach this subject once there as well, because if you ask for a "happy ending" and she does not speak or understand english, do you start playing charades to make her understand? and I think it would be extremely embarrassing if she tells you this service is not provided here or "we are not that kind of a place".

A cousin of mine in Toronto had a Thai w@nky-w@nky place move over his swanky showroom, which realllly pee'd him off big time because it kind of cheapened the whole building (in his opinion) he tried to get them to move but the cops said unless he had actual proof of some w@nking or more going on.. they just didnt have the resources to do anything about it.

and furthermore, he had to get the owner to actually do the act or she can say its just one of the girls who are acting without her permission...

I think for a hand job it is usually 50 usd.

just turn around let your lower stick point right upward and touch her bumbs.
19:48 February 8, 2010 by eZee.se
50usd - 350kr!

Thats depressingly low... i feel even more sorry for those poor ladies now.

Not only are they stuck with a crappy job, but it does not pay well either. :(

I thought it would be much more after reading that call girls make around 2000kr a pop - or maybe the info that i read was off...

Save your money and wänk with your left hand. Then it will feel like an encounter with a clumsy stranger.

The police 'closed' one of these thai brothels in gubbängen last summer/autumn, which is south of Stockholm.

There are a host of issues once we step into the dicussion of prostituition.

I think sooner or later, we have to step out of our current mindset

I personally think it is better to have a regulated industry rather rather than driving it down under.

The guardian has a very good article yesterday. The last paragraph is depressingly brillitant and true.

@Blekinge "I personally think it is better to have a regulated industry rather rather than driving it down under."

So you are saying all the hookers will leave and go to Australia to work? ;)

I think the expression is "driving it underground"

This is an issue that has been flogged to death on TL. The nej sayers will always say nej.

350 kr? I suggest you guys to wraps it with your 350kr and do it yourself and wash the money , dry it and put it back into your pocket. Satisfaction garanteed! Can recycle your money.....GO GREEN!

But really...... I suggest they should close down those spa that provide sex and 'Chuck Wow'. Either that or rename Stockholm as Little Thailand.
11:54 February 9, 2010 by kmbr
haha! I just noticed a new sign for Thai massage for 200kr per half hour. My initial response was, "sounds like a good deal". The I left Mayberry, remembered the world we live in and realized what it probably was.
