Reinfeldt is crap, anyone inline with Carl Bildt is full of Bull!
Nice to have the shadow of the darkness running the show!
They are quite good actors not to show their true colors.
Dont worry Mona, these surveys are extremely inaccurate and a waste of time and money.
We had two very good party leaders in Uk with Margret Thatcher and Tony Blair, but both were complete arseholes. Margret Thatcher was very sincere and a strong leader, but she belived in all the wrong things and believed the free market should be allowed to run everything. Tony Blair was a lying, deceitful, power-mad bastard who used spin doctors to boost his image. Both their predecesors were/are far more honest and sincere/caring, but incredibly boring to listen to.
I sure have decided where mine goes to.
GOOD LUCK
While for those who are used to US-style presidential campaigns the issue of whether voters 'like' Reinfeldt or Sahlin may appear interesting - you need to look at the position of the party blocks. For example the party support poll in DN last week showed:
- support for Sahlins centre-left block of S, Mp and V increasing to 49.7%
- support for Reinfledts centre right block declining to 44.3%
The thing is that people may like Reinfeldt personally and dislike Sahlin - however the PM post is relatively anonymous in Sweden compared to the UK PM - how much have we heards from Reinfeldt since his election. There is also the problem that some of Reinfeldt's Ministers have made themselves very unpopular
- Ask - the Justice minister knowing little about the law
- Husmark Perssons - clumsy social security reforms which has led to 6 month waiting times for unemployement benefits and the sick and disabled - including cancer patients being forced to fins jobs.
So this election is much more complex than a leadership beauty contest - it is also interesting that this poll did not examine the popularity of the other party leaders - for example in a poll a few days ago the Mp leader Maria Wetterstrand was almost as popular as Reinfeld
I will vote for the Swedish Democrates to the Parlament, because they are the only ones careing about the swedish people and their traditions.
To Glempa: if you are British, you might want to learn how to spell Margaret Thatcher's name.
Reinfeldt is a disaster and I very much doubt that they will get anywhere near as many votes as they are currently being credited for.
The socialdemocrats are even worse however. Their idea on how to reform the social security system is an outright disaster. "Utförsäkrade" comitting suicide and a law reform that should have been rejected by the law council, however, they are such a bunch of sheep that they still accepted it.
Yeah, don't expect the socialdemocrats to change anything if they win. It was their idea, not the moderates.
