No, this is a Ford bad quality problem... I fail to see how the Chinese could do much worse. They might just surprise us and actually improve the quality.
As for improving quality thats not gonna help much if they still losing money.
The part of Volvo Powertrain that remained with the AB Volvo group DOES NOT produce engines for automobiles.
