I just wish the Swedes admit it, for the world to see. The peace loving nation, probably one of the biggest terrorist supporter in the world.
Terrorist states and political crazy states should be shunned, not supported.
I think improving ports, raillinks and air transport are better way to spend this money in Sweden.
High speed rail links from Norrland to Skåne would be good as would be links from Oslo to Åland, Oslo to Malmö and Stockholm to Malmö.
Improved deep water ports for exports would be brilliant.
Sverige first. EU second. Rest of the world if there is anything to spare.
In Sweden some people openly fundraise to help extremists break the peace process. See http://www.irlandinformation.se/ They are a cover group for theReal Irish Republican Army (RIRA), who took part in the omagh bombing which killed 29 people.
The same group engages in drug dealing, trafficking of women to use them as prostitutes and racketeering.
I have got to know quite a few people in SFI from various countries. Quite often the subject comes up of why groups which they fled from and got refugee status in Sweden to escape from are freely operating in Sweden when we have a private conversation.
These are just some of the terrorist fronts, operating openly and freely in Sweden.
Al-Barakaat (Al-Qaida front)
Al Aqsa Spannmål Stiftelse/Sanabil al-Aqsa (Hamas front)
Al-Wafa Humanitarian Organization (Al-Qaida front)

Let the truth be spoken.
I am not a fan of Chavez.. Chavez was democratically elected twice, with a big majority in parliment. President Carter, who along side the EU, had supervised the election and had said that it is one of the cleanest, and most open election. EU had also confirmed it. I trust them.
I think you have failed to separate misinformation from facts. Like you, President Bush had called Chavez a dictator, even though he came to power in a dubious manner, and had behaved like a dictator during his terms office.
If you read one of the articles of today's local news the number of widows in Iraq is one million - he is acountable for it together with a few others. These statistics should speak for themselves who is the cruelest/imperilalist elite rulers in the world are? It is the US that the world should fear just like our forefathers did towards Hiler Germany. A tinny country like Venezuela whose state power does not extend beyound its major city does not count in world politics. The only exception to this rule is when they are invaded or violated, i.e., like the CIA attempt to oust Chavez and bring back a dictatorship to that country again. We need to focus on what matters! Absent this the US might stir WWIII.
