"Bathing" (from bathe, not bath) actually means to take a dip. So that's correct and is not a typo.
However, also in the intro, it should be teeming, not teaming.
I didn't get any further than that in the article as I'm in Skåne and couldn't give a toss where 08ers bathe.
I looked that up "bathe" and i gotta admit you are right. Thanks.
if you want to bath in the nude, you have to go to Germany. There you can bath nude in the lakes on beaches and in most spots noone cares :)
I wonder where this wrong image of Swedes comes from .The even have saunas seperated for the sexes (something not common in Germany) and they sometimes wear swimwear in them --
Another good swimming spot is Kanaanbadet in Bromma.
I have watched with regret over the past decades, as Sweden has become more uptight in this regard, more like the United States and less Continental. I am not sure where this new prudishness came from, but my guess is that it goes hand-in-hand with the number of McDonalds and American TV shows.
in that case, Thank you Mcdonald's and American TV.
Not sure what your concept of "continental" is, but in Italy, Spain, Greece and Portugal topless women are frowned upon. Even in Frence, it is less common than before. Besides, topless French breasts are less off-putting than the swinging melons you see here.
