Stockholm couple wins 80 million kronor jackpot

A 50-year-old Stockholm couple has won a 79.5 million kronor jackpot from Lotto, Svenska Spel (Swedish Games) announced on Friday.

The windfall is the eleventh-largest so-called "dream prize" in Svenska Spel's history.
The dream payout came as a result of the winners choosing the seven correct numbers in the Lotto series and two right numbers in the Joker series. The odds of getting all seven numbers correct are one in 6,724,520, while the odds of winning at all, or getting at least four numbers correct, are 55 to one.
The largest windfall ever paid out in Svenska Spel history was an amount of over 214.5 million kronor, which was distributed to a single winner in southern Skåne in March.
