A member of the Swedish para table tennis team had his wallet and mobile phone stolen in Malmö on Wednesday night by a woman who first wondered if he would like to have sex with her, local newspaper Sydsvenskan reports.

Peter Molander was making his way home in his wheelchair after working late at the offices of an organization for disabled athletes when a black car came to an abrupt halt beside him. A woman stepped out of the vehicle and asked, in English, if he wanted to have sex.

“It was quite a strange question to be asked, particularly at half past midnight at Möllevångstorget,” Molander told Sydsvenskan.

“She kept asking, despite the fact that I said no. She said ‘good sex’ a few times. Then she leaned over and pushed me down.”

Molander keeps his valuables in a pocket under the seat and imagined his new iPhone and his wallet would escape the woman’s clutches. But he quickly realized that she had done her homework and had rifled through his possessions as she lay on top of him.

“There was nothing I could do. I wasn’t able to push her away. Then she suddenly got up and said I was boring. When she saw that I was feeling in the pocket for my phone and wallet she ran back to the car and disappeared.”

Molander noticed that the woman interspersed her conversation with snatches of perfect Swedish and believed her use of English was nothing but a smokescreen. Unfortunately for him, however, there were no witnesses to the incident on the empty city centre square and he was unable to note down the registration number of the woman’s vehicle.

Police in the city have received a number of similar reports in recent months of a woman approaching her victims with offers of sex before making off with their valuables.

“It was only the next day that it really sank in. You start thinking about what could have happened if she'd had a weapon or something. It’s also very humiliating when you can’t defend yourself,” he said.

It's Malmö, stupid!

Now, I wonder how the authorities will deal this funny serious case. It's a man's and woman's technical case. Is it a rape case or is it buying sex case or theft case or includes everything? Complete mess up case.

Well, this is the "New Sweden" where old ladies are murdered in parking lots and handicapped people are humiliated and robbed. Thanks for the 'cultural enrichment!'

Don't click the links above. Some nigerian scammer has placed some links. He will say send money through western union and says he is out of uk right now and is located on holiday somewhere in Afrika.

Another kind of troll.

Yeah slut, almost as bad as some guy of Kenyan origin who promised a bunch of people that if they voted for him he would rescue them from all that ailed them.

Ok. It's good that thelocal noticed and removed the troll comments which were placed earlier. Maybe someone has done good job by clicking report abuse.

Wow, I was in Sybilla eating when this guy came in, said he was robbed and asked to use the phone to call the police. They took their time in responding to his request so my friend offered him the use of his mobile but he declined and waited for the people behind the counter. I'm surprised no one seen anything as the bars were closing up and people were rolling out (no punt intended) into the streets. Poor guy but the irony is if he said yes to her offer the police would have charged him and the headline would read "Disabled ping pong star arrested for trying to buy sex."
13:40 August 15, 2010 by slut
This is really ridiculous bullshit. I don't know how they will deal this.

If the woman forced him by slapping on his face to pronounce the words like "can I buy sex from you" and record it on her mobile and hear the same to the court. Then the court will fine the man and put him in prison for 3 months.

In the other side why would such a disabled man ask her? He knows even if he asks that doesn't work. Because, there is no prostitution in Sweden. He cannot keep madly asking people on streets. It would have become a rumour everywhere. Instead he would go to places like Amsterdam or Frankfurt and solve his problem. Easiest way. I don't think the man is such a fool to dare ask a woman on street even in worst case.

I think the bitch just took advantage of a disabled man. Maybe she cheated many. But, I am sure many are ashamed and will never come out and speak. Because, as soon as they open their mouth those all will end up 3 months in prison due to saying yes to her. Foolish case to deal now. I'm very curious to know how they will solve this now.

Just one more evidence added to the thousands: women are capable of violence just like men. They are not as victimized as F! claim they are.

Ping Pong - not as innocent as I recall it to have been when I played it.

PS. Crips should carry a can of ant-bear spra when on the street - squirt 1st, don't miss!
