Ibrahimovic in new swipe at 'small time' Guardiola

Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Wednesday continued his war or words with Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola, calling him a "small time" coach.

"There was only one person (on the Barcelona team) who wanted to get rid of
me," he insisted, explaining why he left the team and signed for AC Milan over
the weekend on an initial one-year loan with a pre-arranged €24 million ($31 million) permanent deal arranged for the end of the season.
He had spent just one year in Spain following a €50 million plus Samuel Eto'o switch from Inter Milan.
"I have never had problems with any coach before during my career," he said.
"But suddenly I had a thousand problems and I had no communication with 'the Philosopher'. No communication whatsoever. I don't know what his problem was," he said of Guardiola.
"I couldn't take it. I had no choice but to find a new place of work and I was lucky to go to a club like Milan. I am 28 years old and can not afford to lose a year sitting on the bench and watching the weather," he added.
Ibrahimovic is in Stockholm with his national team for a Euro 2012 qualifier against Hungary on Friday.

You should also see the matches he played before Barca. But even barca he is not keeping boll all the time to be greedy for goals he played with technique of passing ball to others who have better chance then you to score. Where as barca only want selfish players like messi. And he make big mistake to choose barca as team just because of barca's coach. He only like the player who never pass the boll to others and just take the boll from start and score till end. Why zalatan was fit in Inter because they were playing like a team there.
Great comments. The likes of Eto'o and Ronaldinho were brilliant at Barca but were discarded for the likes of Zlatan. In hindsight, Barca made the wrong choice since Zlatan wasn't the right profile player for the club. Moreso, one can not tell if the coach sanctioned the transfer involving Eto'o and Zlatan. Pepe had always shown interest in David Villa, not Zlatan.
Calling Pepe a small time coach is dismissive and insultive. It shows how classless Zlatan is and perhaps, explains that the problem lays with him. Pepe has not commented openly about Zlatan. Why can't Zlatan be humble like Beckham and do his talking on the field of play like Eto'o has done with Inter? In footballing terms, Pepe is an accomplished player and coach - period.
Needless to say, in the city of the blind, the one eyed man is made king. In Sweden, Zlatan may be hyped and revered but on the global stage, his pedigree is suspect. Against credible opponents, Zlatan's performance is mediocre and we all know this.
