I lived in Sweden for over 3 years as a student. When I read comments from such high profile politicians, it really makes me sad. Sad in the sense that, it is the reflection of the whole society and secondly the ignorance of such a people. Social democrats or whatever they call themselves must be jokers and should be courageous enough to let the whole world know who they actually are. People don't need to hide behind such declarations and say you can't condemn a party because an individual made such a comment. If they tolerate him then it means somehow that they share in views and that of the constituency which he effectively represents. Africans are a civilized and proud of their culture. Seriously, can't you give some concrete points from what the red-greens propose? I could not see anything concrete. The problem is that everyone proposes to FIX the immigrants that come here, instead of taking immigrants that need little fixing.

I went to the Moderates too. Few points:

1. They ENCOURAGE asylum seekers to come to Sweden. THe one thing that they want to change is to make other members to take equal share of this process. (I personally think that this will increase asylum acceptance, rather than decrease the burden on Sweden. Civilized Africa and advanced Middle East provide this flow with increasing pressure in the pipe).

2.Better evaluation of immigrant professionalism. Good point, but also irrelevant in regards to majority of asylum seekers.

3.Tax reductions for those who employ people whe were not on the job market previously. Also good point. However here, one needs to evaluate the benefits vs. risks of employing a person who finished 3 grades. However it is better than nothing.

4.New integration courses. They are not idiots. Perhaps opportunists, but not idiots.

5. Receipt of social insurance with respect of immigrant's advancement in job market. Very good initiative, but also a Total bull. You will not starve a person if he cannot find a job.

Bottom line - they propose nothing really effective, but some plaster to this guy with no leg. Red-greens propose not to do anything at all and not doing anything IS the problem that should be addressed.

1) On immigrant groups

If you talk about "groups of immigrants" you are going to include jews . Why ? Because ,to a racists like the one who wrote that Sweden is for Swedes , jews are immigrants in Sweden . You will also have to remember that the Nazis who gassed jews were not " groups of immigrants " in Germany . They were evil men motivated by hate , just like SD is.

2) On shutting down SD

You keep forgetting that it is the leadership in Sweden that is trying to warn the public against joining hate- mongers disguised as politicians . Surely , there must be a good reason for that . My own opinion , one that is shared by all sane people , is that SD is made up of a bunch of ignorant racist idiots .

3 ) On statistics.

My dear friend , statistics are like stones . A constructor can pick them up and use them as a building material ; a hooligan can also pick them up and use them as weapons. Get this : If I were an anti-war Swede , I would also vist a site , pick up a few statistics about how much Sweden spends in Afaghanistan ,.. show them to a pensioner who struggles to live on a small budget .

An everage of 7 years for an immigrant ( a refugee )to get a job can also be attributed to the time an average refugee has to wait for an answer from Migrationsverket . Besides , the unemployment rates among Swedish born people should be indicative of how difficult it can be for some people to find permanent employment.
