One day after its history entry into parliament, the Sweden Democrats now await an invitation to join a coalition with the other parties. However, so far no parties have contacted leader Jimmie Åkesson.

Even SD are socialists and in fact they want to keep big welfare.
The difference with Socialdemocrats is they want big welfare only for native swedes.
The point instead it's the big welfare should be cut to ZERO for ALL and you need to low the taxes to maximum 15%.
No party in Sweden is really free market and this is a pity.
The lazy people, the drunks and the parasites on welfare are still celebrating in this election.
Sooner rather than later please, the nation is getting nervous.
Will there be lynch mobs outside SFI?
oh and birbun, if you took the time to get to know some lazy people and drunks as you call them you would find that they need help to get ttheir lives back on track after some hardship or trauma. they don't choose to be this way, society creates them?
Stop being so lazy yourself and do some work in the comunity and find out for yourself some of these peoples stories, i doubt you will have sympathy but at least you would gain some knowledge. Lucky for you you are able tolive in your little bubble without help from others as your obviously unprepared to help anyone else.
It will require some serious tactical moves from moderates, especially Reinfeld. That will be interesting to see.
Bearing in mind of course that alot of what's been proposed on immigration is incompatible with EU Treaty obligations. Just one example of the SD finding it easy to spout from the sidelines whilst not quite knowing how reality works.
In this situation no place for such Nazist parties.
This is actually a great example of why these "governments" are out dated these days. Comon people it's 2010! Why do we still support government models developed thousands of years ago???
So far there were lynches only of SD members by the weak and the oppressed. But who counts?
The European Commission's new Joint EU resettlement program states, "that EU members remain free to decide whether they want to resettle at all, and if so, how many refugees they wish to resettle." You seem to be the one who is out of touch. Sweden can reduce the influx of new refugees from outside of Europe to zero. How is that for reality?
You forgot the ... at the beginning and end of your quote!
If you are going to quote (especially laws) please be so kind as to provide us with a link.
you gotta love your imports
look carefully were the most votes came from little peasant towns with rednecks and nazis.
it's bloody shocking but its the way it is..
hopefully they will be boycotted in parliament and left to run to there little hole they came from...

The key solution is education. Improving the education will prevent racism!
And democracy is about inclusiveness - even with the ones you disagree with, such as SD. Do you really think the SD-voters will care how loud the remaining 94% of the people screams their disagreement. Wouldn't it be smarter to give them a bit and meet halfway. As far as I see democracy this is exactly the mechanism that makes it a more stable system: avoiding extremisms by openly taken in the compromise.
Or would you rather ignore the issue and fuel the fire of the really rabiate people out there. The ones who are actually nazi.
At last a person of vision!
One has to put one's money where one's mouth is and it takes courage.
Yes..balance is what we may now get and what we need!

SD has a very valid point which apparently the other parties in Sweden refuse to touch upon. Immigrants are over represented among unemployed and thereby living on social welfare. Anyway read for yourself.

http://ec.europa.eu/home-affairs/summary/docs/resettlement_2009_en.pdf
...Resettlement in the EU is currently carried out through national resettlement
programmes, with little consultation or coordination between countries (10 have
annual resettlement programmes, while some others do this only occassionaly and
some do not carry out resettlement at all).
The proposal aims to establish a mechanism through which this consultation and
coordination can take place.
But every country would still be free to decide whether to resettle at all, and if
so, how many refugees...
This is why we need a more balanced attitude.
There comes a time when one has to take the blinkers off.
It might also be interesting to look at how long Swedes emmigrating to other countries take before they can find meaningful employment!
Fair call about the "comon" phrase I used, needed a ' in there somewhere. But in regards to your question, in my opinion the tradition of electing a leader to physically travel to a meeting to represent your own opinion is a thing of the past. We just need to wake up and realize what the internet has actually done for us. We are now free to communicate our opinion instantaneously and at a very little cost. I imagine a close future where instead of voting for parties to represent our beliefs we will be able to directly vote on the actual topics ourselves.
The days of monarchies and dictatorships and even parliamentary democracies are in their last days, sure it wont change tomorrow, but I bet our grandkids will be wondering what all this fuss was about because it will seem so strange to them that we elect strangers to speak on our behalf.
I want to vote on the issues, not vote for someone who might vote the way they said they would... depending on current party lines, alliance terms, and in party bickering.
Of course they haven't, that would go against their brainwashed belief that reducing immigration = far right.
They'd rather relax and enjoy Sweden having the highest level of rape in Europe.
Anyway to all immigrants in Sweden, try if you can to go to America instead of staying in Sweden, especially if you are not an idiot, if you are stupid you won't survive in the US. Assuming you are not stupid, In America you can become American and you will not be "invandrare" forever like in Sweden. Americans have experience with capitalism so in America you can make real money - many, many zeros before the comma or dot more than you would in Sweden.
If you are smart and enterprising, and/or you have some good ideas and you are an invandrare in Sweden then USA is the country for you - make the move now, by the way Green Card lottery for US starts in October, go to the US government site and apply directly (do the online search and pick the Dot State or Dot Gov results), don't use any website that tells you they will do it for you for a fee. If you have about a million dollars (wait maybe it's 500,000 dollars) to invest then you don't need the Green Card Lottery, you can just call the US embassy and they will help you move to the US as an investor (with great customer service). Oh yeah also if you have a PhD and you are published, you also don't need the Green Card lottery, America wants your brains, go online and take a look (you're smart enough to find what you need). You will love America, much more than Sweden, and as a bonus you can live in a better climate where you choose what kind of winter you want to have or even no winter at all. Forget Sweden, you're wasting your time in this nazi country.
When was the last time they got a free furnished apartment, and funds to live? Many kids are barely making it, and have a tough time finding jobs, economic crisis, etc, it is also too easy to live off welfare thanks to the Social Democrats.
There are single mothers living close to the poverty line here in Sweden, then they hear arguments like, we need the fork force, Swedes are not reproducing as much, well they don´t have time they have to go to work to fund for the migration population to come and live off welfare, it is a vicious circle, and there is resentment amongst them, I do not blame them, don't agree with them 100% but do not blame them!
We are non confrontational by nature and afraid of being labeled, but the vast majority of Swedes feel this way, we are just too chicken to express it!
Thus why you see this movement, Swedes are not against race, we are against abuse and dysfunction of the system, and let's face it is not working and something has to give, sad as it might seem to many of us, the movement will continue unless we take care of our own young first, then think about taking care of others, people our house is not in order.
We Swedes are losing our identity and it is going fast!, and that is what the small movement is about, and unless something is done and the more we label them as Nazis, fascist, racist, the bigger it will become, we need to understand the issue, and work with it, rather than fight a label.
