A man employed as a kitchen supervisor at a restaurant in Borås in western Sweden has been charged with sexual molestation after a series of approaches directed towards a female teenage trainee.

The man denies all charges, which include a suggestion that the trainee dance naked in the kitchen in order to ensure a positive assessment of her traineeship.

According to the charge sheet, he is furthermore alleged to have stroked her bottom and legs, asked detailed questions about her sex life, and showed her a picture of his sexual organ.

Despite the man's denials, relatives, friends and colleagues are all set to testify in the court trial in defence of the 17-year-old girl's version of events and tell the court how badly the girl felt during her employment, according to the local Borås Tidning (BT) daily.

The man has furthermore denied that he proposed having sex with the girl, and that he suggested she join him in sexual acts with other men.

The prosecutor has decided to press charges against the man for sexual molestation, based on the witness accounts and the teenager's version of events.

The late restaurateur Tore Wretman once said that when he started working restaurant kitchens were an exclusively male world for two reasons. 1) It was physically very hard work: think carrying around a half cow and cut it to pieces or stirring a sauce for one hour (it may not sound hard, but it is, believe me) and 2) It was a very sexist male chauvinist environment.

Obviously the latter is still true.

(If he is found guilty and if he goes to jail) I hope his cell mate requests a naked lap dance.

I think this guy needs to go to jail for a very long time. I hope he gets raped in his idiots while there and gets life-long cases of hemerhoids as a result.
