You are totally right ...
We have double standard our country....
yes I agree what a waste of time and money on a double standard case even if it is a very poor case for precedence setting
Now that the court has dismissed the case, it might be time for Lithner and Ohlsson's bosses to remind them their job is to protect children, not persecute and humiliate them. Berhaps a transfer to less onerous duties for both might be in order.
You can cry double standard, but where has a similar situation happened before? I'm asking for at least one.
Geez... people need to get over the fact that people under the age of 15 sometimes actually do want to have sex (I know I did).
We are talking about a girl who was 15 when she had sex with the boys (who I assume are about her age, but slightly under - the article doesn't mention it).

A teenage girl from Kungsbacka in western Sweden was charged on Tuesday with sexual abuse after having sex with two boys who were 13-years-old at the time.
She was 15, and the boys were 13.
I wonder what might happen if a boy is 15 and the girls are 13....The same? Case dismissed, because it was a game of 'truth and dare'? I doubt this.
Are 13 year old boys not protected?
What says the law about it?
-----Detective chief inspector Inger Ohlsson of the county criminal investigation department disagreed.
"We have a law that says one should not have sex with someone else who is under 15. I think that one should follow the law regardless of whether one is a girl or boy,"-----
However the Local mentions in this report:
Sex with minors under 15 years old is a crime that can be classified as statutory rape, but when the age difference is small, suspects are typically prosecuted for sexual abuse.
What means 'when the age difference is small'? (Pojken: slightly under)
How small? What means 'slightly under'? 1 month, or 1 year? Or in this case 2 years? Or 3 years?
Can anybody explain? Why is she not prosecuted at all? Case dismissed?
Isn't that a double standard?
