Malmö shooter may suffer from mental illness

Peter Mangs, who is in currently in detention for murder and five attempted murders after a string of shootings in Malmö, is now under suspicion for two additional attempted murders.

Mangs is suspected of suffering from mental illness, the body wrote in a statement after a so-called paragraph seven examination.
Accordingly, the agency has recommended a more comprehensive psychiatric examination to determine whether Mangs should be sentenced to psychiatric care or imprisonment if he is convicted.
In addition to one murder and five attempted murders, for which he is in detention as a suspect with probable cause, Mangs has also been informed of his suspicion in two additional attempted murders.
The criminal investigation currently under way is also looking at a number of other shootings going further back in time.
Chief prosecutor Solveig Wollstad confirmed to news agency TT last week that police are investigating possible links to a number of shootings in Malmö, but she did not go into further detail.
"The man will remain in custody until December 21st. Only then will there be a decision on whether he shall be charged for additional suspicions," she said.
Wollstad added that she estimated that the investigation will not be completed before the end of the year.

Naturalized Iraqi Muslim Swede tries to kill Swedes indiscriminantly, no comments allowed.
That kind of naive/double-standared morality is what is shattering to pieces many of the country backbones.
I don`t agree that The Local is wrong to block comments over the suicide bombing on Alof Palmes street . Only cyber -bombers are hurt by this decision
Nevertheless, Peter Mangs is preparing to plead mentally insane for a shorter prison sentence, interesting. Only in Sweden can an "ethnic" Swede (what ever that means) shoot over 20 people (mostly dark skinned immigrants) and it not be reported by the media for over 8 months on daily bases until national attention had embarrased the Swedesh media into doing so.
Furthermore, I would not profile since muslims come in all shapes and sizes, many come from Eastern Europe also, indeed, only fool would profile based on apperarance alone.
This is the rel world folks, there are bad people out their trying to kill people.
I like Sweden for the most part. It is not as populated as many ohter places, especially Stockholm, and people mind their own busniess for the most part. I would hate for Sweden to become a bona fide Police State such as New York under the gusie of fighting "The Muslim Terrorist"

i don't know what to say!!! this guy and his kind are just disgusting. i know many of you are even more angry toward this behaviors. as an Iraqi i condemn this attack and i apologize to Sweden if it helps. if i had to choose i wouldn't choose Iraq as a homeland. i feel ashamed and from now on i walk with my head down.

As an incomer to Sweden myself I embrace the Swedish culture, traditions and it is my job to make myself welcome not the otherway around.. Of course I feel left out sometimes, even snubbed.. thats what happens when you move from your natural surrondings, YOU HAVE TO FIT IN!!!!
