When will they ever learn?
The Swedish government has jacked this country six ways from Sunday, by not having the same immigration standards as the USA. This is the ONLY thing the American government is best at, making it difficult for just anyone to live there from abroad.

The US isn't doing such a good job at their immigrations standards. Read this story about Somali gangs in Minneapolis...

Can't believe this guy applied for asylum in Canada. I hope the CDN government expatriates him back to Sweden ASAP.
Thanks for the info link, I stand corrected.
However, coming from Southern California, the only problems, were the illegal mexicans crossing the borders, and up to a few years ago, there was a lot of drug related mafia killings on both sides of the border. Other than that, gang activity amongst Blacks and Hispanics are the only major criminal activities, not counting the politicians of course : )
I guess no where is safe to live, unless some day Mars gets terraformed. I can only imagine what lawless criminals will surface there.
I still feel safer here in Sweden than the States, although I wouldn't count on the police here for assistance if I needed it, guess they don't watch Cops. I can take care of Myself, being an expat has at least given Me the backbone to stand up against any insurgents that cross Me.
As, expat Yourself I'm sure You'd agree at least to some degree.
Cheers!
Yeah, I feel mostly safe here and love the snow. The blanket of white covers the impeferctions. I hated reading that story, telling how the gang came down to my state, Tennessee. I'm glad I can see eye-to-eye with someone else on here. Cheers to you too.
