Martin Luther King, Ghandi and Nelson Mandela where all considered criminals but we look back today and see them as the founders of movements which changed our world for the better.
Piracy is yet another example of such movements, the hypocracy of copyright laws is as an obscenity and is no different the bigotry that triggered the civil rights movement. The more they press the more people will rise to fight and protect their liberties.
Also note if it was up to the the music and film industries we would not have a
MP3 players
VCRs
DVDs
and a whole lot of other technology - tech that they later made billions on.
If copyright was not bastardized by the "content industries" there wouldn't be the "problems" they are facing today.
Download as a civil movement! I do, I am a member or download from all the sites mentioned above.
The US govt. is the biggest hypocrite in the world, if you were to make a list of all the terrible things/activities that they are responsible for, Pirate Bay wouldn't even rate by comparison.
I always use Pirate Bay, agree with Sarah Palin, the internet was meant to be for the free exchange of information anyways, don't let those Tw@ts take that away.
I believe the Yanks(govt), were considering an internet kill switch, not sure if that got shot down or not.
