Charges stemming from sexually suggestive text messages sent to a 15-year-old Swedish girl by a teacher-in-training will not likely stop him from receiving his teaching licence.

Reading such news about a country like Sweden makes normal people feel sick.
I understand it is sick, but still just wondering!
How about castrating this animal, as a joke!
Even if 15 is "legal" in Sweden, it is illegal for a teacher to have sex with a student of any age due to the superior-subordinate relationship involved. Not sure if violating that law results in revocation of a teacher's license or not, but apparently not if the above case is typical.
Exactly. If I was this girl's father I would find this guy and beat him black and blue, and then give him a shower of my own. What a pervert...and to think they're going to go ahead allow this guy to teach.
just another sensational story to grab attention.
since when is a text message an attack? (text back U IDIOT and delete it or just delete it)
I agree with you. Lets castrate him and tell him it was a joke...
We live in an age where the SMS is king.
We've all lived in an age where someone (or many) have a "teacher crush", and there are many cases of those crushes going physical.
I agree that teachers or would be teachers who give in to sexual feelings towards their students should lose the right to teach, but don't crucify a guy for a text message or two in reply to a girl who was probably very aware of what she was doing, and possibly sent from her bedroom with her friends egging her on!
3 sides to every story...his..hers...and the truth!
Hmmm...... So no crime was committed because there was only an offer of sex, but no sex act......
So, if I were to put a gun to your head and threaten to kill you, but not pull the trigger, no criminal act has occurred?
If he did this in the US he would be in jail. There is a long list of men and women in jail for this and involving 17 years olds, let alone 15 year olds.
I like living in Sweden because there are many ways to avoid these kind of teachers who take advantages from their students. I mean, most of the students feel a deeply feeling of respect for their teachers and some of these students mix feelings of respect with feelings of being in love. That is why a teacher must avoid taking advantages of those students who do not can see the difference between these sort of things. Fortunately, the press can tell us who is who and that´s a perfect way to stop teachers like him.
