Like telaviv I was brought up to respect all people regardless of creed or colour and through that, I have met and made friends with many people from many lands, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist.

Your problem is that you start off with a racist viewpoint that anybody that is not the same as you is bad, that is why you will never see beyond your very blinkered point of view. televivs parents like mine where not naive but open and honest. If more people where like that then we would have half the problems in the world that we do.

I had a lot of Jewish neighbors when I lived in New York. I think these people make stuff up about the Jews, because they can't find negative true things to say about them. Most of them were very good neighbors, I had an elderly Hasidic couple that treated me more as a Grandson than a neighbor. Always worried about me, and wanted me to get safer employment.

If the Muslims would stop fighting for a few years, they would probably find that the Motzah Ball Soup are the least of the benefits of their new neighbors. I think once the killing stopped, you would find them fast friends in a couple years.

I was taught that any fascist ideology that perpetrates violence on innocent others, does not believe in equality, abuses children sexually, or through brainwashing that denies them their right of freedom of thought, preaches bigotry and hate, and strives to dominate over all, deserves no tolerance, and respect is an absolute non starter.

I respect any good decent person that does no harm to others, supports no such actions, and firmly speaks out against it, believes in total equality to others who do no harm, and contributes to society as a whole in a positive manner.

All others need not apply.
