I bet they are quaking in their boots now that police have increased patrols
Oh BTW, speaking of mental illness, any suggestions about the following case? I understand this is not the right place to discuss. Still!
These days one of my friends, X, is being threatened by one person, Y, who is apparently suffering from schizophrenia. We happened to study in university with Y.
Y sometimes hits X with punches in public. We understand that we can not hit him back and we can not tie him, because it is against the law.
So many times we have reported the matter to the police, but the police will not take any action, as they will take action only when the court tells them to do. They are, though, observing him. We reported the matter to the school nurse and doctors, where Y is studying. But the doctors can not take any actions as there is not a cure for the illness. Recently, he started arguing with Y and started threatening him. When we called police, the police said tell the school management. We have told them, but still no action yet.
So what should we do ??? We understand that he is ill and we dont hate him but we are afraid, that someday if he gets hold of some knife or something, then it might be irreversable demage. Why wait for such damage????
Any ideas?
The police are really on top of this. How many cars have been burned in the past month? 40-50? Ridiculous. Is anyone in jail yet? These guys are sitting around laughing at how incompetent law enforcement is; unfortunately, this is only going to encourage them to commit worse crimes. Do the police think if they ignore this it will go away?
Perhaps a penetrating analysis of the identities and "grievances" of said gangs would she's some light on the real story?
I wonder if any Mona Sahlin supporters got their cars burned?
Has to be very surreal and frustrating watching your city go to hell from your apartment. I guess the police don't want to do anything because they are afraid they will be "punished" by these "youth gangs". Some rubber bullets, tear gas and batons would go a long way.
police have all needed records & solutions but not for BB now, perhaps they may try and come with a SEPARATION THERAPY soon
@muscle reg ur XY situation, just add Z to the equation and see you get the answer.
Youth = non-Western immigrants 14-79 yrs. old.
Agree ditto!
@Technoviking
Agree, well said.
Also, you're police force cannot really protect you from these people, certainly not your property. You can't blame the police too much, after all they have no power to punish those who deserve it.
Solution: Foreign crime in Sweden = (Instant unappealed deportation - all Swedish assets accumulated by living in Sweden and cost of deportation)
P.S.- maybe some Mona Sahlin supporters lost property from this, but you can bet that she did not.

Surely, this must be a form of mental illness.
Probably can only use them if they are threatened by a gun or a knife, molotov coktails, 5kg rocks iron bars etc are probably not classed as offensive weapons in Sweden.
Send the morons from Migrationsverket to deal with'em, them, the integration minister, Olof Palme & the sossarna are responsible for the mess, they should sort it out.
They never arrest anyone, Their investigations never find or convict anyone. They don't prevent even petty crime from happening. Hell, half the time they don't even show up when called or if they do, it's the next day, after the damage is done.
I'm not even going to go into the whole car / school burning situation. Regardless of who it is doing it, it should've been taken care and brought under control years ago.
The police here are beyond pathetic. All they ever do is hand out tickets and break up the occasional drunken fight.
Keep ignoring the innocent people who need your help, keep allowing criminals to what they please and see what Sweden looks like in 10 years.
Yes, the police have guns.
What they don't have is balls.
