Such a pity this snobbish Nobel laureate crowd wasn't around during those earlier 'chilly periods' to 'stage their mock trials against Mother Earth herself,' charged solely for causing these cataclysmic anomalies, and in a sense, attempting to commit suicide.
The experts seem to forget that the earth goes through these cycles all the time, it is normal, just deal with it!
Old Headline:
Only eleven are physics/chemistry prizes. Three are medicine, one literature, and two economics. Of the hard scientists, we have work on ion channels, decomposition of ozone (two of them), elementary particles, theory of the strong interaction, magnetoresistance, computational quantum chemistry, fullerenes, superfluidity, W and Z particles. Lots of very highly specialized eggheads, which these days is what leads to hard science awards. So they have rounded up 10 of the 137 living chemistry/physics Nobel Prize winners.

Even though 90 percent of the scientific community that specializes in fields related to the subject say humans have made a major contribution to climate change, but the industries, who would have to spend a little bit of their profits to clean up their act, bring out their experts who have written papers disputing it, an MBA and a historian. When you check the cited references in their papers the sources have either never said what was attributed to them or have been quoted so far out of context to reverse what they were saying.
But people believe what they want to be true and seldom let facts sway them. They won't sacrifice current convenience just so their children and grandchildren can survive. The Earths in no danger anyway. It got by without us before and it will again.
