I would like to ask where are these orders coming from? Eric Geers believes that whatever he says we have to swallow. So, I repeat: Who are those who want more than ten thousand cars?
I have a hunch and that is, that Saab will disappear for good.
Some fairly 'grown-up' media are also reporting this story and they are likely to have verified this quote. Also Eric Geers, as a PR professional, would not make this up as he would lose complete credibility if it came out.
I would be surprised if they haven't said this to the suppliers.
@Jasper2
After the way Olofsson has treated Saab they probably wouldn't want to sell her a car - which is saying something as they need every sale they can get.
They have not told suppliers and it is news to them.
do you know how many cars they need to sell just to break even, let alone make a profit or claw back all the massive loans...???
this is nothing...less than nothing really.
10,000 is like trying to use sticky tape to fix the Titanic after it hit the iceberg...not even worth the effort of trying
You seem to be experts in Saab's purchasing, sales and finance issues. Or is it that or you are making naive comments about something you have no real insight into? Either way keep it up as you are providing some amusement. LOL
Seriously speaking, it looks like a hoax. Why not 100 000 then while they are at it?
You are correct. I am an expert.
I have plenty of insights. also its blindingly obvious....
Don't lull yourself into a false sense of competence. Just because you have declared yourself an 'expert' doesn't mean you are one.
