BS....as if, this is just a way to expose this behaviour (which i of course dont agree with) but why would any american company come to SE right now with their strong currency instead of filiming in a similar looking location for pennies on the dollar.

If the authorities will take no action to protect a minority from being driven out by another much larger minority, why would business be conducted as usual by international members of that same community? Why would the Jewish community in Hollywood inject money into a community that doesn't protect Jews? This should come as no surprise. Svensson's "surprise" over this decision is a bit disingenuous.

Well, I wish it were true that all Jews are rich. I'm certainly not. The problem is perception and this is magnified by the media. If there is a programme on tv about Jews, they all have beautiful homes and lots of dosh. Why?

I assist turots and students at a local college. One student whose parents are from Bangla Desh asked me if it would be safe as a Moslem to go to Israel. Hisa parents were very worried. He took my advice, went there and was thoroughly questionned and searched (as indeed I am). On his return, he absolutely gushed at the friendliness of the people (Jewish), managing to tour around. He has since told me that from now on, he will never believe another bad word about Israel. Funny old world!

Over the last 25 years I have got to know in various ways, about 40 jews, all over Europe, in ways that would suprise most.

On that I can only say I have ever met one rich Jew. He was an idiot from New York and not the sort of person I wanted to know as he was annoying, idiotic and politicially extreme in every way, including vehemently opposing universal healthcare and welfare.

The rest were either in dire poverty or very close to it. Most of them were Jews from Poland, Slovakia, Lithuania or ukraine, living in Ireland in absolute poverty, which no right thinking person would ignore and quite a few people did something about, although a lot did not. It was a mixed situation during then economic boom.

One Jewish friend of mine in England is helped out by me and my Iranian Muslim friend to pay her rent and generally survive in Southern England. She is from the extreme right wing of Hasidic Judaism. She is not looked after by them, contrary to popular belief. If that annoys Jewish representative groups, tough, as it is fact. If that annoys Muslim groups, tough as it is fact. If that annoys Christian representative groups tough as it is fact.

I assume that will annoy the local in Sweden.

However she is my friend and my parents have made friends with her as have my friends who are a very eclectic mixture from all over the planet. We have helped her survive the NHS in England through personal support, sometimes clothes and anything else we could provide which was a lot less than the help she really needed. It was not much, but it helped and was very much appreciated. My parents wanted to invite her to Ireland, but the ausperity measures made that impossible due to financial reasons in Ireland, otherwise she would have got an invitation to join my family.

I have an Afghani friend living with (renting a room who offered to help) my family in Ireland who is seriously into religion who wanted to meet her, as she is the only person she considers a good advocate for heathly religious debate and religious sparring. That will not be understood by the people on the comments section and will probably lead to them deleting the comment as pro secularist, even though it is not as it is a way to healthy debate between believers of different beliefs.

I managed a training & resource centre and employed a young Moslem (Pakistani origin) and was questionned by my very likeable area manager why I took him on, you know, being a Moslem. I told him how surprised i was at his question and did not appreciate it. He as a cHristian took me on, in the same way, I took on the Moslem, each time, that person was best suited for the job. One of my very closest friends is a Hindu. I left the UK aged 21 and worked abroad for 14 years to discover the world and it's varities of life. Let me take it from end to start.

Let's imagine for a second that Israel is indeed an oppressor for it's own pleasure and fun and not because palestinians would like to eliminate Jewish presence in Middle East PHYSICALLY.

Lets imagine that Hamas did not declare that even if Israel does 100% of Hamas demand, Hamas would agree to 10 years of cease fire, after which it will commit to a total elimination of Israel including Tel Aviv and Haifa and whatever else. Or sorry - "freeing Palestine" it is called.

In comparison to this conflict, ANY other conflict initiated by Muslims took more lives and inflicted more misery upon other muslims or other religions. Including the conflicts in Iran-Iraq, Sudan and Somali we are talking about MILLIONS of dead and more MILLIONS maimed, hungry and homeless. Now, a boy stealing a candy from a store and a serial killer, who rapes and eats his victims are both two wrongs, but do you see the diff?

Today Sweden is a multicultural country, there are many Swedish citizens that have roots from various parts of the world and would proudly stick to it.
