What is happening in Syria is nothing new, but, since there is no oil in that land like the one is in Lybia, the hipocrytes of the EU did not care.
Lybia is about to be one of the biggest flops for the NATO forces, Sweden includen, but of course.
There is not one day when the Syrian army does not kill civilians, far more than the ones Gaddafi is accused of, but since Obama had not opened his big fat mouth too, Bildt did not want to appear irreverent and did not want Obama to believe that he does not love Mickey Mouse, the same as Sarkozy, Cameron and the other bunch of terrorists who decided to defend civilians in Lybia by joining forces with the so called "rebels" that no body knows who they are and what in the hell are they really looking for.
Now, it is time to join forces against the murderers in Syria. Will Obama enter the coalition? Who knows. He has been too busy trying to solve the USA economic problems.
The Swedish government is ready to contribute with another set of
Jas Gripen planes now that the South African deal is trembling. Someone has to advertise those obsole planes and who is better fitted than Carl Bildt? No one. He speaks for the government, by the government and his statements are dogmas. No more debates like in the global warming hoax. Zaratrustra (Bildt) has spoken.
His "Furthermore, it's totally unacceptable that this escalation has taken place at the beginning of the fasting month of Ramadan." statement is simply stupid, but proves that his mouth is much more bigger than his tiny brain.
moslems have gone to war on Ramadan and slaughtered many on Ramadan. This is nothing new.
The Arab League is quiet, The UN and the EU are relatively quiet. Human rights organisations and various international charities are quiet. even the streets in Europe are quiet. No large demonstrations, no threats of boycotts, not potential arrests of Syrian diplomats or representatives. No outpouring of grief for the actual slaughter or genocide of a nation. where are the many socialist organisations and the unions in particular who are fond of creating their own policies? Their silence is deafening. what shameful duplicity by the wets and the Arabs, too.
There is only one answer to your many questions: NO OIL, MOTTI, NO OIL.
And Israel was very quiet when it came to denouncing Mubarak even going to length to praise him right up to the end. They still have not said anything about Assad either
