Two Swedish suspects have been identified in a major global paedophile ring spanning 14 countries which has been exposed by the US police.

Some 52 people have been arrested to date, 13 of them have admitted to the charges. A further 72 suspects have been identified for having used an internet-based noticeboard for paedophiles.

Members of Dreamboard themselves committed serious assaults against children, and the more films or pictures a member published, the more he was given access to.

The abused children were all younger than 12-years-old, some were babies. To gain access to some parts of the network there was a requirement that the child in the pictures was visibly suffering or crying.

Police in Stockholm are very familiar with the Dreamboard network. A man in his forties has been remanded into custody at Södertörn district court on suspicion of raping children overseas and aggravated child pornography offences.

"We received information from the US that there was a Swedish suspect involved. We have so far been able to identify three Swedish girls featured in the material," said Liz Berglund at the National Police Agency (Rikskriminalen) IT crimes section.

A 32-year-old man from Blekinge who was sentenced to psychiatric care on Tuesday on a string of charges involving sex offences against children, among other things 70 rapes of a six-year-old girl, is one of the paedophiles which the police exposed via Dreamboard.

Only two? Something is wrong in Sweden. Only two.

"To gain access to some parts of the network there was a requirement that the child in the pictures was visibly suffering or crying"...this is really not good news for humanity; this is gut-wrenchingly sad, actually.

So what if there are 2 or 100, They are not gonna get the punish they deserve!!!
09:34 August 4, 2011 by J. L. Belmar
@zooeden, actually, @sweden

Wrong. It matters. Two is what the authorities and the media are saying. A 100 might be closer to the truth, but I agree with you, not completely, because the are not going to get the punishment they deserve; only, they might get it. Might, zooeden, might is the key of the story.

Too bad those Swedes involved were not in the USA at the time of the raid. They will never spend a day in jail. We know darn well the Swedish legal system will find a twisted reasoning to justify the behaviour of the paedophiles. They will probably come up with something like since the kids did not complain to much, or that they had too much cookie crumbs on their mouth, they smiled too much etc.
10:17 August 4, 2011 by J. L. Belmar
@Rishonim

Or that the kids were not drunk enough for a court to consider that they were sexually molested, raped, etc, etc.

The paedophiles will get a free ticket to Majorca to find more children to molest.

Lucky for these two they were not arrested in the US!

Lock them up and throw away the key or hang a rock around their neck and drown them!!!!! Of course that will never happen in my country since they are very protective of a criminal's right but not the victim who is usually some kind of a suspect.

@johnny1939

Remember: we are in a country where you are guilty as charge right from the beginning. The world wide rule of "someone is always innocent till the law proves the contrary", does not function here. Specially with the type of people Sweden has withing the judicial system. They are far worse than in my country of origin and that is too much to say.

@ J. L. Belmar - "Only two? Something is wrong in Sweden. Only two. "

The reason is they were the only two non-gay clergy remaining in Sweden so that makes it understandable right!?!

An eye for an eye. as a punishment for these guy let them stand in the open public, and let the men from the public molest, sexually abuse them.

The only difference would be the location, place them in African countries!

Good idea, too bad its Sweden, they will end up writing a book, going to Thialand and molest little kids, come back to Sweden get elected to run the country, retire millionaires......

Do what ever you want and then become a "psychic", every thing will be solved???

The books is written. On Monday they will travel to Thailand. In a week they will be back and they will start preparing their manifesto. They will be elected to run the country with their you know what and you, others and me, will remain being poor.

Sweden needs to stop rewarding criminals on all levels. Their so-called progressive attitude will be the end of them. Harsh prison sentences and zero tolerance for child rapists are the only deterrent. People who are molested sometimes go on to be molesters themselves.These children are being victimized two times; first by their rapists and then by the system who says what happened to them was not such a big deal when they give the rapists just a slap on the wrist.
