Woman severs tongue of would-be rapist

A man who is suspected of trying to rape a 21-year-old woman in an apartment in Malmö over the weekend was left nursing a partially severed tongue as his would-be victim fought back.

The man is reported to have told the young woman in broken English that he wanted to be her "friend" and proceeded to force himself on her, taking a stranglehold on her neck.
But when the man tried to kiss the woman she bit hard on his tongue, severing the tip.
"He is bleeding profusely and in the end he gives up. According to the woman he is furious and he kicks her before he leaves the apartment," Anders Lindell at Malmö police told the newspaper.
The woman later passed out from the shock and when she came to was able to call friends for help and support.
The police have classified the incident as attempted murder and attempted rape.
According to the woman the man is aged 35-40-years-old with short, black hair, brown eyes and ugly teeth.

A witness will bring clearing up, most likely: In an infamous way, she tried to practice mutilation on a desperate and lonely man, who came for his daily hug - in a cold and racist society. Possibly, she wasn't even a virgin!
This man's blood will be a never healing scar on the collective conscience of all upright Swedes - and an eternal stain of Swedens history.
This man came for a little sign of love, to protect his soul from freezing to death. All what was given to him, was no dentist and a severed tongue... Maybe, he will never be able to integrate, to become assimilated, because his severed tongue destroys all his hope for having a career as a politician.

I have to wonder why she opened her door, in the middle of the night to a strange man she didn't know. That just doesn't sound like a good idea, especially if you're alone and with the stories about guys here in Sweden pushing doors open to rape people.
I never open the door to people I don't know unless I'm expecting a package or something. That's because growing up I lived in a neighborhood where groups of people would drive up in a van, split up and go knocking on all the doors trying to sell stupid stuff all the time. It was annoying but getting in the habit of not opening the door to unexpected strangers probably isn't a bad thing.
Why censor this? The police has gone out with that information. Most other newspapers have released it. But not here? Why?
Just tell it how it is and it`s up to the public to decide what it means. The gate-keeping effect and filtering that some newspapers use is horrid. In a mature society it`s not up to the state or media to make the call what the public should know or not. Let it all out and let the public take stand.
Why risk that this guy will get away by not giving the entire description? You wanna help him get away so he can attack another woman or child?
Also, the police consider this an attempted murder. Not only rape.
