English-speakers in Stockholm and Uppsala looking for a slice of home language culture should leave a day or two free in October for some skillful, crazy fun - and some nudity - when two celebrated performance groups take to the stage.

Perhaps some sweet young lady who would rather see a virile young English man than an old Swedish Gubbe.
sweet young ladies get enough rock and roll in the real life... but maybe some old ladies will enjoy the show :)
young or old, we modern ladies like to get a "peek" of what is out there same as guys do. ;-) Guess Gamla is just an old goat who is living in the past when ladies were not "allowed" to be interested in sex.
Men have always "peeked" at the unclothed ladies. Now the shoe is on the other foot. I am all for a good healthy dose of an eyefull of male testosterone, and if it is English, all the better. Lets see, Daniel Craig, George Clooney, Clive Owen, Johnny Depp, Christian Bale, Jude Law, Brad Pitt....ENGLISH. Remember we are not just talking about the British, but English and all these guys fit that description. Lets see if you "measure up" buck naked to these guys "Gamla Hälsingebock " I am pretty sure the vote would ne cast for "George Clooney" rather than "Gamla Gubbe". But, in all fairness to Sweden, Dolf Lundgren, or either (young or old) Stellen or Alexander Skarsgård would be ok too.
I feel exactly the same way about men sitting and looking at porn. At least with this, you get the theatrical play with the nudity.
Do your students go to bed at home at 8 oclock at night? If not, they are seeing way more than this on Swedish tv. I have seen what I would call soft porn at 9:30 at night on Tv1 and Tv 2. There is not just some nudity but sex and you see nearly everything too. On MTV some of those "kids" shows are just downright offensive. Just last night they had closeup shots of male testicles being shaved and a penis being pierced. Not pretty on either count. I often think "There are children still up at this time." And lets not even start in on what they are seeing on unmonitored internet!
But I think there must be other plays available that are more "child friendly."
The museum in Stockholm FINALLY has an exhibition that is not "A Look At Sexuality In Art" and "Maplethorpe S&M". They have an extensive Monet exhibition on. That would be a great place to take students.
