This "your right to die when you choose" is code for "Sweden saves money by denying people treatment, and Sweden will save even more money when the sick believe (falsely) that there's no hope and are therefore urged to kill themselves. Sweden won't have to supply end-of-life care either." In this murdering authoritarian medical state, it's a ploy to free up hospital beds and elderly facilities marketed in the guise of providing a right.
While life-saving treatments are accessible in other countries, taxpayers in Sweden will be told there's nothing to be done (like they already do) but the state will help them die. It's a win-win situation full of financial gain for the monsters who steal tax money and dictate the lives of the populace. Sweden is a dystopian nightmare with doctors whose doctors have the bedside manner of the Grim Reaper.
In Sweden, if you're not a taxpaying slave or breeding taxpaying slaves, then the authorities leave you to die.
Thanks for articulating more boldly than I the true nature of this situation.
Sweden is moving back towards the days when elderly "statare" threw themselves off a cliff when they were too old to get an annual work contract.
A Last Letter to Your Dying Wife-husband.
Darling, it does say on this piece of legislation you have to go by tomorrow. Rules being rules and myself being an obedient citizen l am afraid there is nothing l can do. I realise there are many deaths in life but this one is official and who am l to argue. After tomorrow, due to medicines available to some but not you, your life must end. Tomorrow darling l am going to murder every foul minded person l can find on this unlevel playing surface and make lampshades out of them. Remember. Obey the rules.
Yours are probably the most lucid comments I've seen here in years.
Socialstyrelsen (Ministry of Health) = Death Panels for the non-breeding, non-productive. The triage looks something like this:
First out, elderly women.
Second, elderly men=out
Most favored: women of breeding age and working (Swedish) men between the age of 25 and 60.
Immigrants...forget about it.
