The Sweden Democrat Party began its second congress on Saturday debating a proposal for a new policy program. It proposes, among other things that name of the new ideology should be "social conservative" in a move to distance itself from the more nationalistic overtones of the current “democratic nationalist” line.

The politician behind the proposals Mattias Karlsson assured delegates that nationalism will always be a key starting point in any ideological discussions.
"This program strengthens our middle position in Swedish politics, said party leader Jimmie Åkesson.
The congress can either accept or reject the application in its entirety.
Meanwhile it has emerged that all employees of the Sweden Democrat Party could face fines of up to 100 000 kronor (or the equivalent of the "real damage") if they disclose "confidential information" about the party.
Defending the imposition of the gagging order, Party Secretary Björn Söder argues that it is in line with firms inside and outside politics.
“In all the companies I've worked at, they have a duty of confidentiality,” he told Expressen newspaper. However, with questions marks over what amounts to “confidential information” and ”real damage,” union leaders were quick to criticise the move.
“It creates a fear of being sued. We would advise everyone against signing such an agreement.” Martin Wästfelt, general counsel for the union Unionen, said to Expressen.

Currently SD is on the rise and the last figure that I read was 7%. By distancing themselves from nationalistic ideas (like the crazy incompatibility of "immigrants are unemployed and live on our taxes" together with "immigrants come here and take our jobs") and concentrating on the real problems, they get themselves 20% easily.
Also they need to adapt a bit more opinions in other matters, but immigration and pensions.
According to the statistics, most supporters are SD are very young or old men with low wage and low education. So your argument is basically wrong. I'm afraid though the economy crisis may enhance this right wing populism but once economy is back on track they vanish.
According to the latest from Metro (if I am not mistaken), Social Democrats are losing voters to SD and Moderates. So the age thing is fixing itself and as you can read above, the ideology is also changing towards a more reasonable one.
Well, well.... There is nothing left, but wait and see.
Meanwhile, when everyone is crying and bashing SD, the rich and middle age ones from the center are slowly shutting the doors into the country, eh? Slowly, but SURELY. What is great is that even the swedes recognized that there is a PROBLEM. This is the most important thing.

Sweden has been isolated for so long its failed to keep up with the rest of northern europe. The Swedish Democrates or whatever thay are called now like to portray themselves as a mouthpiece of democracy. At the same time they believe that a uneducated national has more rights to a job than a educated immigrant who can speak swedish.

Every country has some specific cultural behavior and Swedes are not the exception. They have some the characteristics that you hear everywhere. But as usual there are minorities among each culture. In Sweden the minority is supporters of SD. I have met them and you can even read news about them. They show the least Swedish characteristics. In fact the reason why they only like to see this Swedish behavior around themselves is because they themselves lack it inside. This will not change so easily. So the support for SD will cannot increase much in one generation under any circumstances.
We argue the same argument with the same reasoning. You already told me 23 times that SD voters are a minority. Remember my answer to this? I will remind you.
Although the actual voters are a minority, those who do not want to hire you, live in your area, send the kids to preschools dominated by your children and buy stuff from you on Blocket are a VAST majority.
The only ones who are not racist enough that they are not afraid of you are the right wing. That is why in this twisted and weird reality, those who want bring here muslims in industrial amounts are in fact much more racist than those who want to control this flow.
Right wing actually CARES about and UNDERSTANDS islam in its arabic version. It sees the dangers, as well as weaknesses of this uniform and brainwashed society. It also sees the way to assist this society to actually integrate, the way Kurds, Turks and Iranis managed to integrate
At the same time left wing commies think of you as a lesser and a bit retard nations that just "don't know any better". And treat you as challenged, unpredictable and dangerous person, around whom everyone should walk on tip-toes and not do or say anything that may force you into "justified" violence. Don't you get it? Doesn't it insult you way more that the direct and unhidden confrontation that SD offers?
Those vast majority you are talking about have exactly the same feeling about right wings like you and even the equivalent Swedish ones. They can never see Islam, Christianity, Judaism and right wing way of life as an alternative to another. However they support any of them that is the victim. The main reason why they oppose the Swedish right wing altogether is because it makes Swedes look immoral, self-admirable. That's unbearable among the vast majority of Swedes and they pay any price to avoid that. Now good luck with your efforts but I guess you need to have another 40 years to live to probably see that!

A personal experience is not a proof of anything. Immigration unemployment is obvious. read the thread nearby. SVT is claiming a 65% unemployment among capable make immigrants between 20 and 35 in Malmö. How is that for a problem for you?
Areas of immigrants concentration are becoming a "ghetto" not only because of an inflow of immigrants, but mostly because of an outflow of swedes. You just disregard these simple facts.
Yes, majority would not vote for SD now, but majority DO whatever SD is SAYING. Now, when I say "you", I mean it as the plural "you", not thou. Majority of swedes despise and fear the immigrants.
