If I lived near a forest , I see myself chopping one down .--- and my conscience would stay intact .

You are just a criminal nothing more
be assured that I am smart enough to know that if I ever run a business , I would have the capacity to deal with some realities . For starters , I would know that to most ordinary humans , the assumption that a forest is a natural heritage is hard to eliminate . There is a Philosophical reason why many Swedes don`t consider "harvesting" a tree for celebrational reasons a more serious violation than taking an apple from someone`s garden without asking . I
Of course those who chop down plenty of x-mas trees for commercial reasons should be arrested and charged .
In case you missed it , this is a case of stealing trees from someone who was selling them - at a square .
