Breastfeeding mum in Swedish car wreck

A woman who was breastfeeding her weeks-old infant while behind the wheel is under criminal suspicion after crashing into a truck on a motorway in western Sweden.

While two of her children were strapped in car seats in the back, the woman's was attempted to breast feed her weeks-old infant when she rammed into the back of a tanker truck.
“The child she was nursing was three weeks old. She didn't see that the truck was braking, so she drove into it,” Jerry Nyberg with the Lidköping police told Sveriges Radio (SR) following the incident.
The crash triggered the cars airbags and left the vehicle severely damaged, according to the police report from the accident.
While no one was seriously injured, the woman and her three children were all taken to hospital in Skövde where the mother and one of the children are still in care.
On Wednesday, officers from the traffic crime investigation team of the Lidköping police decided they will formally notify the mother that she is suspected of a crime.
“But we will have to wait until she is out of hospital again,” said an investigator to Expressen.
The mother has yet to be formally interviewed about the case, so the exact cause of the crash is yet to be confirmed. However, she did admit to police she was breastfeeding her infant at the time of the crash.

Honestly, who breastfeeds an infant whilst driving ...?
What this woman did was insane and damn well bloody stupid, and I agree with a previous poster, that some one must have been watching over that baby!
She should have thought well before having three kids, having three kids which means having a lot to do does not justify this act.
