For fans who just can’t get enough of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a new iPad application has been released to complement the footballer's 2011 biography “I am Zlatan Ibrahimovic”.

“The app takes the book reading to a whole new dimension,” said Sara Örhvall of Bonniers R&D in a statement.

The app costs 139 kronor ($18.99) and was launched on Thursday. It is filled with interactive features aimed to give users a deeper insight into the life of the Swedish sports star.

“This is the first biography of this kind, and undoubtedly the first based on a world-famous football star,” said Öhrvall.

The book itself has sold 520,000 copies so far, and provided a no holds barred glimpse into the private world of a football star.

Bonniers has released a preview video of the features, which include slow motion replays of Ibrahimovic’s best goals, a page where users can zoom in and learn of the meanings of the player’s tattoos, and a collection of pictures, news articles and memorabilia.

The app is available in both English and Swedish.

“For many, the Zlatan book was their first real reading experience. It's big, but now it will be even greater with the ability to combine the visuals with the story. This has never been done before, but now the time is right,” said Zlatan Ibrahimovic's publisher Albert Bonniers Förlag.
