Most of immigrants get their education and degrees in some years in Sweden, but can't get job and the require experience in their field to be able to leave Sweden. Otherwise, there is nothing interesting about living in Sweden.
What is interesting about living in humiliation, in a country in xenophobia? When somebody would be able to get a job in UK, France or US, pay the tax and live without a social pressure for decades in a country like Sweden!
Don't worry; give the immigrants a proper job; they themselves leave Sweden after some years! There are already many top immigrants (professionals) leave Sweden to somewhere else.
I think this goup is approaching this respectfully. I agree with it, if you aren't doing your part to become a part of society and pay taxes, learn the language, then leave.
In US ??? If you are not a native American then most probably you are an immigrant too in the US :)
Savvy,.,.,
The government, ie, us swedish taxpayers, already pay 80% of the salary for unemployed immigrants.

this is a good deed done here im glad to read it.
You see one ridicules problem with Swedes is ignoring the facts, when facts don't fit with their needs and mentality!
I am speaking about immigrants, who have been living in this country for decades, and can speak Swedish, have studied in Sweden, and still can't find jobs in their field, have never found a job in their field. Thousand of them are working as taxi driver, or restaurant workers and, thousand other low level jobs in this country for decades!
Now, let me tell you how Swedish mentality works; as soon as I speak about immigrants, who don't find jobs:
First, they bring the alibi of Swedish language; blab, blab, blab, this immigrant and that immigrant can't speak Swedish, or immediately refer to SFI!
Second, when Swedes realize that I am not speaking about that kind of immigrant, then there would be the alibi of education, blab, blab, blab, this one or that one doesn't have the education.
Third, when they realize that there are many, many immigrants, who already have a Swedish degree, and can speak Swedish language, there would be the alibi that immigrants don't want to leave their place and move to somewhere to work, where jobs are!
Fourth, when they realize that there are many immigrants, who did all the expectations from the wonderful Sweden, and still can't find job; the answer would be:
You know what, there is no job; just shut you mouth, and do some cleaning job, or whatever we ask you to do!
after finishing my masters from a swedish university, i have been applying for jobs where requirement is high school degree in economy. but guess what?? i am still unemployed, although i worked in a MNC in my country but all my education, swedish language not enough.
Extremely nice idea!
I know an elderly man, a respectable father in an immigrant family. He worked as senior engineer in energy system in Asia, one of the top 10 among the Fortune 500 companies. He moved to Sweden to reunite with his wife who became a researcher. The man learned Swedish while looking for jobs. In the meantime despite his age he took a master degree in computer engineering at a Swedish university, hoping to expand his opportunities of getting a new job. Sadly, he got no job in either of his expertise areas. Nobody offered even the ALMIGHTY "instegsjobb" jostein bragged so much about. It's not the language, education or lack of will, but definitely age- and ethnic-related discrimination. After many years of looking he finally got "praktik" as college admin in the same Swedish univ he got the master from. I sincerely hope he can turn the praktik into a full employment and work there as long as he wishes.
I believe many immigrants can support this although it comes from SD. There is obviously alot of unhappy people here as a result of being jobless and just don't like it here. There are monetary benefits for all sorts of things so why not help the immigrants that have not got a job and have grown bitter of Sweden? Like many posters of this forum.
And no, this is not a excuse for discrimination.
@runninblues Who are you talking to? That's pretty arrogant to say that kill my own culture.
Did I miss something or when does this suggestion push for immigrants families to split up? Those who *want* to move should get help.
God I hope we could pay to help Sweden-racist people like EP to get out of here. What gives you the right to be that hateful? Because our culture (admitedly) is boring? Hell no. I think one reason why so many on this site are so bitter is because it's really hard to get friends in Sweden. It's sad so many people feel socially rejected here.
Do not jump too quickly onto conclusions. I implied nothing like you said and I don't think immigrant families can be "pushed" by some SD youths to split up families. I'm just pointing out the impracticality of this idea among many immigrant families. SD's new method might work for the ones who don't have family ties that make them stay here. Talking about social rejection, well, lots of Swedes feel socially rejected too.
problems worldwide.
Another SD propaganda and publicity. Who cares...
There has always been complaining by Swedes that refugees are moving to Sweden and Swedes can't do any thing. My question is why in the first hand Sweden gives residency to refugees if it doesn't want them to stay in Sweden.
Refugees move to Sweden, but it's the Swedish authority which is able to accept or reject them. There are thousand times more refugees moving from one border to another border in developing countries, and live in refugee camps for ages, or force to go back.
My second suggestion to Sweden is, don't accept and force everybody to return back or keep everybody in refugee camps until the time they would be able to return; if Sweden really doesn't want refugees.
But, the fact is that Swedes accept refugees, give them permanent residency, give them citizenship, ask them to learn Swedish, and then call them parasite, humiliate them in their entire life, make them miserable and at the end ask them to accept whatever the Swedish labor market expect them to do!
@skatty
Right on spot! I totally agree with you. Only that educated immigrants are a minority in Sweden. What educated immigrant would choose to come to Sweden to begin with?
#28
@skatty
Right on spot again, brother!
"I am speaking about immigrants, who have been living in this country for decades, and can speak Swedish, have studied in Sweden, and still can't find jobs in their field, have never found a job in their field."
Maybe this is the wrong country for them then? Nobody asked them to come here. And many of these people have been living off wellfare all their time in sweden. Enough is enough. Time to go home.
And its not "your field" just because you got an education in that direction. Universities does not make engineers, engineeringcompanies makes engineers. That you dont know that makes me wonder what path of life you are from?
Furthermore, i see you use the word "refugees" alot. Only 5% of immigrants in sweden arrive as refugees. The reason that sweden insists on accepting heaps and heaps of colonists is because the swedish media is controlled by antiswedish extremists. After 2 decades of pushing the politicians crumbled in 2002, after the purges of M there was noone left to resist the journalists. Since then the extremists have been running the show. And there will be hell to pay.
@christo is half right, but only half right. Swedes and non Swedes have utilized the welfare system at will. The difference is that if the Swedes look for a job, it is going to be easier for them to get one. I have witness this for so many years that it is almost lost in the never ending story of immigration in Sweden.
But, as I wrote in a previous post # 16
"I believe that the Sweden Democrats have a good idea that should be seriously considered and not be thrown into the trash just because it is an idea of the Sweden Democrats."
This happened already. Just read todays "newspapers" and you will see. That is the reason I am the OUIJA.
Me: Most immigrants that don't integrate, can't speak Swedish, and live off of welfare for 10 years, DON'T HAVE DEGREES and DON'T TRY TO GET ONE. They come from the 3rd world, expect the gov't to pay their way, have a strange sense of entitlement, take the longest time possible in SFI (so they can get funding as long as possible, up to 2 years) and they live in their own enclaves and don't even try to integrate. I immigrated to Sweden almost 1 year ago, I found a job within 4 months and I don't even have a specific "field" that I work within, I also know 3 other immigrants that have actually TRIED and they succeeded in getting a job within a year of coming here. In my opinion, if you don't have any job (even a menial one) within 2 years, you're just not trying. It's not that hard.
Skatty: "What is interesting about living in humiliation, in a country in xenophobia? When somebody would be able to get a job in UK, France or US, pay the tax and live without a social pressure for decades in a country like Sweden!"
Me: Living in humiliation? What are you talking about? If they're humiliated by getting free housing, barnbidrag, and socialbidrag, they can get on the next plane home. We didn't ask for them to move here, but we take care of them regardless because it's the right thing to do. I pay for those benefits out of my own pocket and I think if you're an ungrateful leach on the system for over 10 years, it's time for that to stop. There are people much more deserving of aid.
I don't support the SD, but I am an immigrant and I want this proposition to go through. It will make Sweden a better place.
You have written a short sentence filled with so much rubbish.
It is staggering to think that a fool like you could actually type so many big words. Did you need a dictionary to spell 'UK'.
I am an immigrant in this fine country, and I will happily go back if I am given a big big payment to leave. Then, a nice, clean, blond swedish person can have my low paid job. I have not worked in the area I have nearly 20 years experience in since I came here. Sweden needs immigration to support the aging population.
If you want me to leave you average country... come on....
Sweden is an OK place to live but it is made worse by people like you.
Q: If the SD gain significant political power and I am asked to leave the country, does my swedish wife and our swedish born kids need to leave as well?
What happens if my county refuse my swedish wife entry.
In England there are approximately 30, 000 swedish people. I think the English should throw out all the swedish people. And exactly how many sweds are perving in Thailand
http://www.bobdylan.com/songs/i-pity-the-poor-immigrant
If it's entirely voluntary, the SD proposal sounds like a good idea to me and one which some immigrants in that zone should appreciate and make use of.
However, a comparison between 100,000 Swedish kronor and a prognosis of the basic cost to the Swedish state, of maintaining an immigrant on life-long social welfare support in Sweden, accommodation, health care, schooling, etc. + a pension would show that 100,000 a year is much less than what it costs to maintain an unemployed or unemployable immigrant in Sweden for even a year.
So, could the SD consider raising the level of enticement for despondent immigrants to return to from whence they came? Then more immigrants would be tempted and not just for the short term prospect of being a millionaire in e.g. Zimbabwe - and perhaps be happier to leave for their home pastures....
Would the SD like to add the proviso that once such an immigrant/ immigrant family take the money and leave they cannot easily return? That too would be reasonable.
I can think of a few alternative ideas one of which would be to encourage some of the younger qualified immigrants to work abroad in their fields, through organizations like "volontär" - as sort of Swedish Peace Corps volunteers... at least they would then be doing meaningful work
@Swedepea
You certainly know a lot about immigrants after having lived here for "ALMOST ONE YEAR"! It is much easier to find a job for an uneducated immigrant than for an educated one.
How hostile you are. Interesting. First off, I am not "uneducated." I have a general education degree (that's 4 years of every subject) from an American Uni, but it gives me more options than those that decided to back themselves into a corner by getting a ridiculously specialized degree. Bad life choices are not my problem. But again, it's not the educated immigrants they're wanting out of Sweden. And I'd say I've accomplished more in 1 year here than many unmotivated immigrants have accomplished since they set foot here (be it 5, 10, or even 15+ years). Put forth some effort and you'll have a better chance of succeeding, simple.
No one choose to be asylum person or migrate.
It's funny that swedish people forgot that thousands of them migrated to USA long time ago.
I dont specifically which comments you refer too. But yes there is a lot of hate towards Swedes on this site and alot of hate towards immigrants on other sites.
There problems with racism in Sweden ofcourse, but there are many immigrants like you in Sweden living in Sweden.
@lifeee
Perhaps you missunderstood what your friend said and should confront your friend instead?
no need to spell UK, Dublin, Belfast, Las Malvina, Grand Britain, India or whatever. say no more...
30,000 Swedes in the UK? Unbelievable! Do you mean Ulrika and Goran or the vagrants from N.Africa, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Pakistan, etc. who yesterday got some papers from Sweden by odds and moved to UK, Germany, etc. calling themselves Swedes, British, Germans, etc. whenever they need it and wherever they are in.
as to sweds perving in Thailand it's too exaggerated and only left to Swede-Thai relationship to their own devices.
so don't talk garbage being ignorant!
What are u talking about?
Who the hell would leave a place that offers things that would never be available in third world countries. Lets the SDU people go try living there. If it works for them then it should works for everyone.
"There problems with racism in Sweden ofcourse, but there are many immigrants like you in Sweden living in Sweden."
No, there are problems with racism in Sweden, of course, but there are many immigrants like you in Sweden LIVING IN AFRICA."
What a beautiful discovery: "immigrants like you in Sweden living in Sweden".
I do not like to discuss grammar, but I like to discuss common sense.
How is this racist? I'm sorry but I don't see the problem here... Sending out information packets is bad?
Get over yourself.
I like SD's idea. If it came from another movement (say, hypothetically speaking, Christian Democrats) them I think it would have more support. But since the sort of people they're targeting don't WANT to go home because they have it too good here, then a different approach is needed, something more feasible.
It's a Muslim nation it has Shari'a already on the books.
Even for asylum seekers - do they say they want asylum in Egypt, or Libya or Tunisia - no its - either Europe or America.
Then there is the reality of freedom, versus - the reality of life in the Shari'a based law parts of the world - which must be like a kid in a candy shop - who can't reach out for a sweet, as it might offend god's law.
To solve the problem - Muslims want to get rid of all the candy - they want to remove all the freedoms - that they can't have.
And rather than sitting down and explaining to them like a child - that other people might enjoy these things - they are being told that they can remove anything they want from the shop - any freedoms they want to get rid off [or find offensive] - just point.
Of course when the other people complain - they get called - in a not so nice voice - racist, hateful, Islamophobe!!!
Naturally some people will, undoubtedly come to the conclusion - that if they are not happy then - perhaps they should go home.
And the onus should be put on others - to show 'I want to get along' that 'I appreciate being here'
Besides those already in Sweden - the immigration policy - must be looked at in a realistic way - based on the behaviour and further the demands being made by other immigrants in those same groups.
Asylum is an areas where people really do need help - but the practise of marrying for immigration purposes [generational family reunification] should extremely restricted or stopped. If you are having problems, why add to them? Keep the immigrants Sweden has - and turn the integration situation around - as best you can.
Truthfully there are not too many places in the Islamic world where we can look to as positive examples - and that is worrying in terms of the future.
1st. Immigrant are everywhere in the world, if yours country don't want immigrant, then don't accepted them. Change immigrantion policies.
2nd. If you want some or all of those whom didn't participate in the society, then other country would do the same things.
All about are discriminated and racist.
Remember that it was Muhammad himself, who led or ordered twenty-seven warring attacks against the "infidels." He, as their supreme lawgiver, gave the order to decapitate 900 Jewish men for opposing him and not receiving him as a prophet. The perennial threat to the West is Islamic terrorism along with its advancement and in "The Grand Jihah" it offers a vexing report regarding the Islamic aims for global conquest while much of the Left encourages such.
The leftists use language demonizing those who hold opinions opposite theirs. It is because verbal attacks are all they have in their quiver. Facts and factually notated and supported positions are kryptonite to liberals and the left.
Islamists intent to establish a global caliphate and the liberal lefts misguided ideas to embrace the Islamists to reform them. As a result the liberal left have enabled and empowered the Islamists to populate sleeper cells around the world in nearly every nation as the Islamists then proceed to undermine and sabotage society after society as they forcibly institute Sharia law around the globe. Worse still is the guarantee that if they do not successfully institute Sharia law every where, they promise to bring civil war to every nation they live in.
France and the Netherlands to include the Dutch have already seen untold riots and violence for petty reasons and continuous murders of people throughout the world by the hands of Islamic fighters. This a record of the betrayal the left has committed against the human race and the untold lives that are still to be lost because of the ignorant dreams to destroy civilization for the sole purpose to institute 7th Century principles co-opted by socialistic fantasies of countless failed nations.
