When police arrested a 20-year-old woman from southern Sweden for bashing up her boyfriend’s car with a baseball bat, they found a fully-functioning bootlegging operation in her house.

The woman, who was snarling after her boyfriend had damaged her car in an argument, got in her vehicle with her sister and chased down her boyfriend and his brother.

When they stopped, the women proceeded to smash up the man’s car with a baseball bat and a steel rod, according to local paper Sydsvenskan.

The woman then turned to her partner’s brother and attacked him. She knifed him in the throat and beat him over the head with a blunt implement, reports the paper.

However the wound to the man's throat was only superficial.

The women then scarpered from the scene before the police arrived. Well there, the officers were able to patch up the bleeding man. The incident has been classified as attempted murder.

When the angered woman returned to her home, which she shares with her parents and her sister, officers were waiting for her.

In the house, police had made a surprising discovery, finding it contained a fully-functioning liquor store, complete with stacked alcohol bottles and cans, price tags, and price lists.

In the woman’s car they also found a list of orders, according to the paper. The whole family is now under suspicion for breaking Sweden’s alcohol laws.

The 20-year-old woman was arrested on Saturday night. A warrant has been issued for her sister’s arrest, although she is still at large, according to Sydsvenskan.

If you are into illegal activities, don't do anything that will attract the attention of the police.

A good illustration would be the "matchstick" scene from "For a few dollars more"

where Lee van Cleef strikes a match on the hump on the back of Bad Guy. Bad Guy holds his temper in rein, since he and his gang are planning a bank heist. (one of the better Clint Eastwood films)

Lesson number 1, it is usually very unwise to unduly upset a Swedish woman.

Baseball bats, Golf clubs whatever weapon comes to hand will soon be flying in your direction as poor old Tiger can no doubt testify.

However to be fair, most Swedes I know in the bootleg business do tend to be a tad more discreet than this particular lady.

The other wanted sister was probably busy with her own liquor store at another basement somewhere...
